i have 3 characters,1 has a striking bot,and one has a range one.For my third one what should i make for a fighter?

make a mind bot o.O
two same bots doesnt have any advantage.
if you make a mind bot you can handle with forcer weapons too

You should know there are 2 objectives for raising a PM. One is to synth, the other is to help in battle. Before Ex devices, you can pretty much only pick one, since doing both will most likely give a mediocre PM.
Combat support PM should complement your play style. If you melee a lot, pick a PM to aid with range or techs. But, you can always go for a melee PM to add more close-range combat.
If you already have a pure strike & range PM for synthesis, the next could be either pure armor or tech.

The main reason to build a PM is for synthing. You can change your PM type to pretty much anything with EX devices, and they don't really help in battle that much anyways. = \
Since you already have a striking PM, the next best thing to have is probably Armor. Tech is probably the least useful PM to have, even if you play a techer. Especially now, where you can just trade in spheres for an entire pallet of decent techer weapons.

Main reason for having a PM is to have a small young girl/boy/adult/animal follow you around and mind your room/shop...!!
A TECHNIC type or a healer type PM would help out a lot in battles if it heals you. For synthing purposes though, an armour one or a mind one would be nice.

the boy is disputable, but just create the 4 kinds of pure pms, then use a ex device to transform it into any kind of bot you want it to be, while retaining all its synthing stats.
