How do you set up your customize menu?

B Button: Heavy Attack
A Button: Attack
X Button: Resta
R+B Button: Jellen
R+A Button: Anti
R+X Button: Zalure

Silas (FOnewm - Yellowboze)
B: Heavy Attack
A: Attack
X: Resta
RB: Rafoie
RA: Razonde
RX: Rabarta

Trinity (RAcaseal - Pinkal)
B: Heavy Attack
A: Attack
X: Dimate/Trimate
RB: Fire Trap
RA: Freeze Trap
RX: Confuse Trap

I know the standard setting is usually A-Attack/X-Heavy Attack, but in my opinion I feel way more comfortable using a Heavy Attack on the B Button, lol.

hunter NEEDS atleast one slot for hp heal items. lol. and mage DEF dosnt need heavy attack n usually set my to my needs like if im in forest its foie/normal atk/rafoie R resta/difluid/trifluid/barta or rabarta then i keep zzonde onmy top for a quick selection of spells. lol
im in ult with both of em n my force has firesceptor/ice sceptor/ storm wand and i switch frequently to minimize tp use.

Lol, I guess I'm unique. XD But yeah I haven't even played with my Force and Ranger character yet so it might change when the time comes. :)

(not in that order, but I can't recall atm <_>)

I usually use the Shortcut menu (when you hold Ctrl+End, but with Gamepad) for a good majority of my techs.
In order:
Resta (if not knocked down, used. If knocked down, used in 1-0)
Anti (only used in Ctrl+End)
Rabarta (mostly used in 1-0)
Gifoie (only used in Ctrl+End)
Grants (only used in Ctrl+End)

Ryuker (always used in Ctrl+End)
Shifta (always used in Ctrl+End)
Deband (always used in Ctrl+End)

I either use the top techs or bottom techs depending on the situation
For example, if my PB bar is full. Resta and Anti are up there because that's how I normally use those, however, I like resta on 1-0 to spam if knocked down, because if you use resta through Ctrl+end when you're not standing up yet... you only heal yourself because it hasn't locked on to anyone else yet. But I prefer using 1-10 usually because with Gamepad, I don't have to lean to keyboard as often to press key.

I use S/D with bottom of Ctrl+End list as well.

A, B, X: Extra, Normal, Heavy
alternalte A, B, X: Rafoie, Gizonde, Rabarta

That's all I play as, I have to say, for a Gamepad user... Playing as Cast is waaaaaay easier on for controls. I don't have to lean forward at all unless I'm obligated to type -_-

Currently playing as a Hunewearl so take it from that.

X = Attack
Square = Heavy Attack
Circle = Fluids/Mates
R1 + X = Resta
R1 + Square = Zalure
R1 + Circle = Jellen

Don´t need to put my self buffs on those as you know.
I save it for more active commands. ;D


So top on short menu for techniques.

Deband
Anti
and Ryuker is on the last one.
The other techniques is not so important to me to care to order them.

And off course Dimate/Trimate is top on short meny for items.
Resta isn´t quick enough for some situations obviously.


Myself i prefer not to rely on keyboard unless i´m chatting.
It´s just annoying otherwise.

Neat thing I like about Androids in this game: Everything can be assigned. There isn't one thing that cannot be assigned a place for an Android character. Makes life easier... I had everything assigned when I had a RAcast (deleted him because I decided against having a Ranger right now, despite having Frozen Shooter...), and it rocked! Except for the part where I died being so used to having mates assigned to the secondary pallette in GCPSO, when all I needed to do was hit 1... -.-; That Gillchic got lucky... Well, sort of. I kicked his, er, its sorry behind after it shot and killed me.
