Author's Note: A few days ago I just beat the "Seat of the Heart" Quest in EP2 of Phantasy Star Online EP1&2 Plus. It was my first time completing the Quest (For a few years I thought the Quests were only available Online because when I went to the Guild lady she always stopped me from taking the Quests). And it's actually my second favorite Quest ("Soul of Steel" from EP1 being my fave) and I decided to write a Fanfic in which my three PSO characters will do the Quest. Cygnus (HUmar)
Bluefull - Level in Fanfic: 143
Appearance: Default HUmar hair (Ash's hair) colored black. The face style with the blue eyes. The second row last costume. About 5'7" and 15 years old.
Silas (FOnewm)
Yellowboze - Level in Fanfic: 135
Appearance: The last hairstyle choice, colored white. The face style with the star on the cheek. The first row blue costume. About 5'5" and a half and 14 years old.
Trinity (RAcaseal)
Pinkal - Level in Fanfic: 139
Appearance: The headstyle similar to Ult (Elenor's sister). The first row black costume. About 5'5" and her age is unknown.
They're my new characters (I made them about a week ago, at the moment Cygnus is LVL34, Silas is LVL12, and Trinity is LVL2) but for the Fanfic their levels will be much higher! Enjoy!
Chapter I - The Beginning
The dim lighting casted shadows on the burgundy colored walls of Cygnus's room. It soon crept upon his sleeping face, and soon enough his eyes blinked open. A faint yawn escaped his mouth, and he was ready for the day. The fifteen-year-old HUmar arose from his bedside and took his Bloody Art and left his room.
He walked idly through the corridors from his suite to the hotel lobby. Pioneer 2 was a really big place, a REALLY big place. Scyscrapers soaring from the ship's grounds and vehicle pods transporting people through the many passageways that leads to their houses. Cygnus stretched out his weary arms and made his way toward the Guild Counter. He was broke and he wanted to see if there were any jobs he could take up so he could buy more Trimates for his Rati.
At the Hunter's Guild he encountered a Force, seemingly a year younger than Cygnus was. He was about two inches shorter, wore a black suit with yellow puffballs attached to his "magician-type" hat. His dark blue hair, reaching to his brows, matching the light blue star tattoo on his left cheek, and his pointy elven ears. He must definitely be a FOnewm.
Cygnus walked toward the Guild Counter, next to the FOnewm, and searched through his Mission List. Only one mission was available at the time, and his client was from someone by the name of Elly Person. He accepted the Quest and soon he met with his client. She was a brunet, about a few inches shorter than he was, and she was clearly a FOnewearl.
She explained to Cygnus about the events with the examinations that she was going to take. They made their way toward the Chief, Natasha. There she explained and instructed the test takers about the exams they were going to take. Cygnus scanned through the rooms to see each person. The most noticable one was the humungous green and beige RAcast next to a redheaded RAmarl. He also spotted two HUnewearls, one with black hair and an eyepatch, and the other with wild blonde hair. He spotted the FOnewm he saw before, next to a green RAcaseal, who's probably his partner. He spotted another RAcaseal with a black exterior next to a RAmar with a white costume. There were also some other ones, but Natasha finished her speech and they all scattered away before Cygnus could notice them all.
"I'm going to the transporter. Meet up with me there when you're ready, okay?" Elly said.
Cygnus nodded, and walked down the slope where he saw the FOnewm from before talking to the RAcaseal with the black outfit. It seemed they were partners, actually. They were having a conversation about the Temples, and they turned to face Cygnus, noticing that he was listening in to their conversation.
"Um, can I help you?" the FOnewm asked. Cygnus noticed a slight shade of red on the FOnewm's face. The RAcaseal held a serious expression.
"Agh, sorry. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, I didn't even realize I was eavesdropping, actually. Anyways, I'm Cygnus," he said. Cygnus felt like he might as well introduce himself for accidentally butting in the conversation.
"Silas," the FOnewm said simply, smiling. "And this is my friend Trinity. We're partners for the Chief's exam. Um, where's your partner?"
"Oh, she's the brown-haired FOnewearl that just passed by here. Actually I have to catch up with her, I'll see you guys later."
Silas nodded and waved, while Trinity just waved.

Upon entering the VR set to the temples a speech was being made from the Lab to the people taking the exam. Cygnus also noticed a small badge right next to his Bluefull ID with gold letters with the letter "E," indicating that Elly and he were part of Team E. While the Chief continued talking, Cygnus remembered back to the two Hunters he has met. One was a shy and kind Yellowboze FOnewm, apparently 14 years old wielding the Talis cards. And the other was the serious and rather quiet Pinkal RAcaseal, wielding a huge Photon Launcher.
Elly made her way through the rooms, shooting at the traps and Lilies as she made her way through the mazes. Cygnus had his Railgun equipped and shot at the Dimenians coming after him, and shot Gifoie at the Rappies following close behind him. The bridge rose, giving Cygnus some time to feed his Rati the leftover Moon Atomizers he still had.
From afar, a short, chubby HUmar with an afro was having a fight with a HUcast and HUcaseal. The HUmar won, charging his Freeze Launcher at the androids.
