Hello all,
I want to start a force, but he/she will be for strickly offline play. I want it to be almost a pure caster so i wanted to go with one of the Newman. I don't like the males though, for somereason i just don't like their costumes, but it seems they would be best for offline single-player because of the 30% boost to the multihit spells...
Can someone give me their opinions on what the different forces strengths and weaknesses would be for offline play? and also what Section ID i should use?
Thanks!

Learn to live with the weirdness of FOnewm. He is amazing with the RA- techs, and can clean rooms very fast. At 110ish you can have Seabed and Ruins open with him.

I've only played as a FOmarl and they aren't great for offline play. They are the best Force out there for online in a party because of their bonuses but weak on their own with terrible defense and low ATP.

Stick with a FOnewm, like previously stated, learn to live with their large behind. It gets annoying but youll get over with. And for section ID, use pinkal if you dont think it will look gay.

If you can't get passed that gay costume pick a FOmarl. I did--but I finally accepted it and picked the costume Dr. Montague wears (it's one of the few that doesn't scream homo-jester of doom).

The 30% boost to Ra-type techs a FOnewm gets is useful, but it's not really necessary. Any force with high level spells is rediculously over-powered. In Ultimate, that 30% boost is only going to save you one or two casts at best, but remember that not all enemies are best dealt with in a pack. Some of the nastiest enemies in the game are better handled one-on-one, and that doesn't even include that you're forced into single-target battles with six of the eight bosses in the game while using a force. A FOnewearl is the best force for one-on-one battles in most cases, as she has a 30% boost to simple spells. Remember that multi-target spells do significantly less damage than single-target spells, but obviously the trade off is the multi-target ability. You can also use weapons and shields to add boosts to spells down the road to make up for lack of boosts, or to strengthen already existing boosts.
If you prefer that slight edge on multi-target Ra-spells and an easier time facing bosses De Rol Le and Barba Ray, then the FOnewm is the best choice.
If you prefer that slight edge on single-target basic spells and an easier time facing the Dragon, Vol Opt, Dark Falz, Gol Dragon, Gal Gryphon, and Olga Flow, then the FOnewearl is the best choice.
In the end it all comes down to your preference of playing style. All forces have their positives and negatives.
