For the last, almost year I been on PSO-World, the connection has been great, no bad load times or anything.
The last few weeks, it's been messing up a lot. Probably like 50 times a day.
Since the about 3 weeks ago, I been getting connecting errors, the gamespy maintenance thing it's horrible. While this is happening, every other website out there is speedily loading. It's not my internet if every other website I've tried works normal.
Has anyone else been getting these ridiculous errors?

It runs silky smooth for me, but that's probably because I have a Premium account.FOCL.

Right, I forgot what FOCL means....Sayara answered that once, but I forgot.

It's been garbage for me as well, though I can attribute that to having someone else on my 3x faster than dial up connection. But it's been needlessly doing that.

Moved to Site Related?

I just don't see how it's only PSO-W....for me at least. It's like every time I want to post or something it gets all fuckkidy, then by the time it works, I either forgot what I was gonna post, or I say fuck it and go to a different thread.

Yeah. Everything else loads fine, but PSOW has been saying the connection was reset, or the page tries to load but never does.

Have you gotten the gamespy maintenance thing too?

lol Volcompat's second thread that was unFKL'd.

I usually get the Gamespy maintenance notice in the morning.

It's beyond the staff's control. PSO-World is located on one of Gamespy's servers, and we're subject to Gamespy's server farts.

Eh its been on and off for me. Its usually slow when I'm playing PSU but that could be me askin alot for this technological paper weight.

This error message has been occurring with irritating frequency lately. We've been working with our hosting provider to sort out the problem. For our part, we've taken several steps to improve the efficiency of the site, but the issue is definitely hosting related.

Iv' been getting Connection reset too frequently, as well as slow loading.

Volcompat321
06-12-2009, 08:22 PM
Yea, slow loading is the biggest deal. A few months ago, there was nothing of the sort. Now, it's unbearable. While everything else works on my PC, other websites, and everything, I know it's not my internet, as well as everyone else' internet.

Yeah, we know.

Yeah, we know.

Isn't it my human right to complain about it though?
I mean, shit, I don't really care if it will be taken care of or not, I just like to tell people I hate what's happening...is that cool? :D

I know it's only been two days, but has there been any update as to the cause of this?

Volcompat321

I only got it once since yesterday, but I've been away for a day or so. Not on here as much as usual. Once in the time I did come on is better than usual :D

I'm not having any problems with this site. It still loads the same for me. I get that Gamespy maintenance thingamajig every once a great while, but that doesn't bother me.

I haven't experienced any problems this morning, but the forums definitely have been going slow lately to the point where it's almost unbearable.

Hopefully things work out soon.

Completely unrelated.

Looks like it isn't as bad now. Still seems to be running a little sluggish, but it's not screwing up anymore. Which is guud.

The site has been better today. Hope it stays that way.

*snip*

This particular error message occurs every morning, usually around 6:30 am to 7:00 am. The webservers go offline for a brief maintenance during this time period.

:(
Well...it still sucks.
Maybe I get these errors because the time I'm usually on most is the time it goes down.
It sucks.
