So I bought these Bic rollergel pens, which are nice, since they use all this awesome technology for comfortable writing.

Problem is, I'm a chucklehead and lahned tha wrong way, and I grip pens and pencils way towards the tip, so I'm not even touching the rubber bit most of the time.

That and they bleed through the paper a little. So. Like. Yeah.

Give pen suggestions (inb4 penisland jokes)

I used to like these fellers.

But the ink had a chance of bleeding through or not drying fast enough so the edge of my finger would scrape across a letter and there'd be ink all over the place. So for now I have a few random pens that have the make and model scraped off from being thrown in the back of a closet for a few years.

I think I actually tore holes in ze paper when I used the uniballs. I may have just made that up. I don't remember.

These pens are my favorite. Except I had the .07. They feel so smooth to write with, to scribble with, to ink things with, and everything else. I love them.

Don't put pens in the dryer, it doesn't end well. ;_;

That looks almost exactly like one of the ones on my floor. In fact I have a good hunch that is exactly it. Good job, mah boi!

I'm a tip-hugger, too (an invitation to innuendo if I ever saw one). I often get graphite or ink on my fingers thanks to that habit.
I'm afraid my usefulness re: pen suggestions is nil, however, because I enjoy plain ballpoints and the occasional (sinful) dalliance with colored Uni-ball Visions dancing in their heads. I think my permacalluses are thick enough that I don't really notice the pressure, I guess maybe possibly. Not sure if that's your issue.

No, I'm not hallucinating; that's what the pens are called:

Actually, the most comfortable "pen" I've ever held is my Intuos 2 stylus. It feels so natural I find myself absentmindedly carrying it around when I leave my desk to get something, or I type with it in my hand.

Check out that swanky rubber padding down by the tip (haha, rubber joke?). It's thick, too, so your hand isn't so cramped up.[/spoiler-box]
Also: if you're tearing holes in the paper your writing style may be too manly.

These always got the job done right.

I saw the Sharpie pens, but I didn't want to be the first-gen adopter that gets his hand blown off. Can't trust these things to chance.

I try to make my writing as girly (i.e., neat), but after punching some ice I can't help but rage across the paper landscape.

Every time I see that oh-so-clever abbreviation, I mentally insert another m, and the world becomes that much better sounding. Kids these days and their silly txtspk sppng mah nglsh (gt w/ pen).*

Do you mean like this?
[spoiler-box]http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/3672/downloadofc.jpg[/spoiler-box]That's the way I hold pens and pencils.

It's the only way I can write. Every other way feels uncomfortable to me, or it feels like I'm hovering. ._.

That's pretty much the way I hold a pencil, though generally I point it towards the paper.

(Also, those finely-manicured digits don't belong to me. Just wanted to make sure that was clear.)

I hold the pen/pencil near where the nib is.

This is the one true way to hold a pencil (unlike eating Reeses, there shall be no leniency or deviancy):
