Lie. It's not pretty good! The real valedictorian had a 100% record throughout the whole 4 years, and he wasn't even trying. The 2nd in our class had a 99% average on his scores, and 3rd on down was 95-93%. Top 10% relative to those two was like being average.
Also, I do, but just during commercials. It's been a habit since I was a kid.
