in the land of twilight, under the moon
we dance for the idiots
ring-around-the-roses, jump to the moon
we sing with the castanets

I will sing for crescent moon
dancing with the castanets
as the end will come so soon
in the land of twilight

now you are watchin' us outside the circle
wanna be in the company
boy, but you are lonely
dance with nobody
run away child, to your hiding place

high and loud, the sound of your bell of the twilight...ringing..
all alone, it rings and echoes in the twilight

in the land of twilight, under the moon
we dance for the idiots
ring-around-the-roses, jump to the moon
we sing with the castanets

SIGN was quite a lot better than many of its counterparts... even if it makes almost no sense till the last few episodes.

true but it had good music

Good music, though it did like to use the same few songs over and over. At least the moods it used them for fit well.
Interesting choice to use lyriced music even when people were talking, though.

I kinda raged at myself for reading the twilight and thinking of the godawful movie/book/series/sweaty fangirls.

I had never even heard of Twilight until the movie came out, and then I noticed how several of my coworkers seem obsessed with it.
I continue to remain completely ignorant of the series. Sparkly vampires sounds like something rageworthy.

It is... they barely count as vampires... the horror stories i've heard about that book *shudders* and those were when people were trying to impress me with it...

Watch the sun,
as it crawls across a final time,
and it feels like,
like it was a friend.
If it's watching us,
and the world we set on fire,
do you wonder,
if it feels the same?

And the sky is filled with light,
can you see it?
All the black is really white,
if you believe it.
As the time is running out,
let me take away your doubt.
We can find a better a place,
in this twilight.

Dust to dust.
Ashes in your hair remind me,
what it feels like,
and I won't feel again.
Night descends.
Could I have been a better person,
if I could only do it all again?

And the sky is filled with light,
can you see it?
All the black is really white,
if you believe it.
And the longing that you feel,
you know none of this real.
We will find a better a place,
in this twilight.

Haven't laughed this hard in a long time
I better stop now before I start crying
Go off to sleep in the sunshine
I don't want to see the day when it's dying

She's a sight to see
She's good to me
I'm already somebody's baby
She's a pretty thing
And she knows everything
But I'm already somebody's baby

You don't deserve to be lonely
But those drugs you got won't make you feel better
Pretty soon you'll find it's the only
Little part of your life you're keeping together

I'm nice to you
I could make it through
That you're already somebody's baby
I could make you smile
If you stayed a while
But how long will you stay with me, baby?

Because your candle burns too bright
Well, I almost forgot it was twilight
Even if I think that you are right
Well, I'm tired of being down, I got no fight

You're wonderful
And it's beautiful
But I'm already somebody's baby
And if I went with you
I'd disappoint you too
Well, I'm already somebody's baby
Already somebody's baby

TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR
HOW I WONDER WHAT YOU ARE
HIGH ABOVE THE WORLD SO HIGH
LIKE A DIAMOND IN THE SKY
TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR
OH CRAP I FORGOT THE LAST LINE.

This has been 'emotional music time' with Retni.

Apparently the vampire kinda rapes the girl in the fourth book, so uh... that's cool for kids to read, I guess.

Pff. Compare the Golden Compass movie with the later books in the series, and THEN talk about what it's cool for kids to read. XD

me and my friend went to watch golden compass.
y'know the bit were the polar bears are fighting, and one gets gets its jaw kind of bashed off, at the that point the whole place went silent,
and my friend stood up and shouted YEAH!
i slowly sank into my seat.

I dunno - unless the Golden Compass is potentially teaching kids that it's cool for their boyfriends to rape them, I'm not entirely sure what Golden Compass could be doing that's worse.

It's pretty much that level, if not worse at times.

What, does the polar bear get molested or something?

I'm hoping you're not talking about the whole silly "killing god" plot that people were complaining about, because I fail to see how that's comparable.

Not the movie plot, it was fine. I mean the stuff like how the guy gets some knife that, ever time he uses it, deforms him in some way, or something. Or the creepy torture experiments. Or any of the other stuff. It's a dark series, but I haven't read it, just read about it.

Oh what has become of my poor .hack thread? *sobs*

the golden compass series might not have have people getting molested, but it had it's fair share of freaky shit... mostly involving souls and familiars.

I only saw Golden Compass because Daniel Craig was in it.
I was dissapointed. The movie sucked and they probably won't make a sequel.
Except the part when that one polar bear fucking knocked the jaw off of that other douche bag polar bear. That was balls crazy.

You made sequel to your thread, so you never know.

TalHex

they made a sequel to the harry potter movie, and they are going to make a sequel to twilight probably, and despite my death threats against humanity, they are probably going to make a sequel to the eragon movie *shudders*.

Worse movies have sequels, i wouldn't be surprised.
