This is using a ps3 controller, and it is basically set-up like a GC controller, as much as it can be.

my corded 360 controller recently broke :<
So I decided I'll use my PS3 controller, this setup helps because, dear Lord, the default pad configuration couldn't possibly be more difficult <___>
I think start was UP on D-pad? and Confirm was the L-trigger? lol... not to mention the axis' were complete shit.
I should have used my PS3 controller much sooner, the analog is so much smoother, making it much easier to pull off slick-turns to manually evade and fire more efficiently.

Ps3 controller - win lol..
I used to use the 360 controller (corded) and it was horrible.
The D-Pad is shit on the 360 controller. PS3 controller =win always :D

One thing I am disliking, the sensitivity is great for the left analog stick, however, the right analog is also very sensitive... messing me up when I use the menu to switch weapons, use techs, traps, items, etc... I can't find away to create a larger deadzone on the analogs, any way I can lower the sensitivity of the Z-axis rotation?

What's with the 360 pad hate lol. Although I agree that the 360 D-pad is absolutely terrible, I despise the way the stick is placed on the PS3 pad.

I use a 360 controller and have got set up with exactly the same controls as PSOX. It works great. I don't see where all this hate is coming from.

I'm thinking of asking my cousin to let me borrow a 360 wired controller he has for a while, see if I can get used to using a controller again. Using the keyboard really limits how long I can stay on for, because my hands start to hurt after a while. Plus, I can't epically turn around and shoot at things the way I could on GC. Didn't even have to turn the camera half the time, just turned right at the enemy and shot. If I can figure out how to set up the controller to the way I want it, I might see if I can find one to buy.

Check out the XBCD+ drivers if you're planning on using a wired controller. The Triggers are useless on the drivers provided by microsoft unless you use a program like Xpadder or Joy2key (well... you should pick up one of those programs anyways, they work awesome with PSOBB)
