TECH upgrade Questions

I've been away for 2 months, so I've fallen behind on the JP content changes. Going through five 80 page topic with info scattered throwout the topic just seems too... long. It would be very useful if those topics were summarized.

Mods, delete or lock if you see necessary... but please wait after I get a constructive response or two.

Questions :

Did elemental TECH+'s, (ie.: fire, ice, light... ) end up effecting support techs? For example, Resta being effected by Light TECH+. I ask this, because SUPPORT lvl+ was only usable by MasterForces, the only tech class that can't use the 6 "Elemental" TECH+'s.

How did Sega change Rentis and Dizas(sp?) once they were released?

How useful were base stat upgraders?

Elemental Tech+ is for attack only. Only MF can raise support, and it's a different ability.

Rentis and Dizas now absorb 25-30% of the hit instead of a value based on your max hp.

Base stat ups are marginal to a high level except some instances of Sta up. They're a godsend for a 20/20 in /R missions though since it makes the difference between equipping 11stars or 12stars for a lot of race/type combos.

Base stat up also allows you to equip armor! (For GM at least)
