I don't know if the lack of updates here/The presence updates there has something to do with population but yes, they have more people playing, the transparent stars we see here, tend to be white stars there (maybe with a transparent star besides it).

This is the JP PSU pop. at 00:00 on a recent day. The population tend to raise in their evening (not veery much) and obviously at midnight (3-6 AM) decreases drastically (but not totally). Now in the weather forecast.... blah bla....
