So, I headed over to my local video game store EB, to find out when PSO would meet its demise. So I asked when game shark was coming out. They said it had several release dates but it kept getting pushed back. After awhile it said CANCELLED and they continued to tell me Interact was having some problems and Gameshark prolly won't be released! There's the good news, here's the bad, since interact wants to hack perfectly good games at all costs they might release a different cheating device. and of course we still have to worry about that action replay.

Interact has no intrest in Gameshark.

Also, does anyone rember the rumors when EB said that the modem and BBA were canceled? Are they? No. Just another one of those things.
The Action Replay, which is supposed to be released today, does not have a code generator, and the codes are encrypted in such a way where you cant just easily tweak the encrypted code. Also, the only ones with the equipment to make codes are Datel, and they wont be making codes for games that go online, at all.

Wow...thank Datel for not allowing online games to have codes. At least one company realizes that online cheating is worthless.
Good thing they aren't releasing code generators.

Yeah... sure.
BTW... anything that uses some sort of code.. encrypted or not... can be broke.
And thinking that Datel wont release PSO codes automatically means no PSO codes.. think again.
I give it a week.
The end is near... and that truly sucks.
(FYI... supposedly a "Save on Another Card" code has already been released for PSO on the Action Replay, and if that is true... the deed has been done already)

Im not saying it wont be broke. Im saying that the people who are making the thing wont be making codes for it, and that it will be slightly difficult for your average PSO player to break it. The people who will break it are not your average "gib labis plz" players.
I give it 8 days http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Online stores in the UK now have the Action Replay in stock:

I don't see the big problem with Action Replay anyway, the only people who would be able to make an enable code would be Barubary, who isn't going to be releasing codes for GC pso or CMGSCCC who don't support the Action Replay and also aren't going to be releasing codes for online games.
