It's actually all my fault. Before the whole ordeal I said aloud "ZA WARUDO!" and everything lagged like crazy. Maybe it was the awesome that is "Za Warudo!" that caused the whole ID check to fail. Again I apologize for this inconvienence.

Pretty much a running joke from day 1. I myself first noticed it when I first joined the PSO online community back in the Blue Burst era, we had a lack of updates, were way behind the JP servers.

Hell even M$ stopped updating their PSO...so badly Santa had his icy grip on the balls of Pioneer 2 for at least a year, demanding that his lobby, the Xmas lobby, stay up forever. It remained that way until the xbox servers were laid to rest, Santa's regin never challanged by even the mightest of Hunters. A sad tale.

Blue Burst didn't have it that bad, but it was noticble that BB was meant as a tide over until the arrival of PSU. For the 6 months before PSU and forever after, BB never recived a single update. Our hunters never got to finish the fight and save Ragal. We would have to leave it up to those of Episode 3 C.A.R.D battle.

When PSU came out and the Kubaras regulalrly started showing up we then decided to call Sega, Segac. With all the Kubaras built in jokes thrown at sega. "The server will get the JP update next maintinace...maybe." "We fixed the glitch issue...so we've been told." We got that all the time, often getting any JP glitches as well as many of our own. It seems even PSU is destine to end on a sad note.

Well, I think depending on how they have it set up (and this is coming from someone who is just purely speculating here, I'm no expert on this crap), if their auth server is a completely seperate server (and not just some kind of thing running on the regular server), then either it keeps rebooting every so often, or maybe it's a DDOS attack (I think that's what it's called)?

Who knows, maybe some kid who's good with computers just said screw it and decided to attack Sega's PC PSU servers or something.

Yeah, this has happened to me for most of the day, and the last straw was when I was at the end of a run and disconnected. It's getting beyond pathetic at this point. I know it's a holiday weekend, but for the problem to persist this long is not acceptable. I wouldn't be shocked if more people quit from this nonsense.

The problem there is it's PC/PS2 servers. I can only play on PS2 because my computer can't handle it and I can't afford a 360.

[Waki Miko Syamemaru!]

I myself have just gotten a PS3 a couple months ago. Now I'm not regretting it seeing as my favorite game on it is InFamous. So far all I've gotten is a few lag spikes. I should lucky to just get that.

I really wish the lag and disconnecting would just stop.
