Major lag today

Anybody been getting a lot of lag lately, to the point of where you are waiting to go to the next screen for about a minute? I haven't seen any topics about it, so I figured I'd ask if I was the only person here with this problem.

Yea i been getting hit hard with lag today, to the point of why even bother logging in :\
Seems a few other people are getting it too.

Mine has been really odd. I was able to log in, get to the casino... and then after that I keep getting timed out as soon as I go anywhere else. Now I'm getting timed out right after logging in. Before I can even roam about.

Connecting is perfect though, I don't have any lag. So it's definitely not my connection.

Event lag again, since they moved to the new sega office whenever there is more than 2 full universe's it gets unplayable.
You will never get a responce from sega about it but this is the real reason.

I've experienced this lag several times today and have been disconnected as a result. It certainly isn't my connection because I had other transfers continue at the same time without incident.

I know that alot of people have been lagging today from event lag, but was anyone lagging the few days leading up to the event. Normally I have a really good connection, but wednesday I was experiencing number lag. Yesterday I was disconnected about 5 to 7 times. Today I was disconnected even more. I was wondering if anyone else was lagging before today, or is this some kind of personal problem that just happened to occur around the time of the event.

Well, my lag was all but gone until about a few minutes ago... when I timed out in the middle of a mission. Now, when I try and reconnect it keeps giving me...

"(No. 60)
Failed to recognize SEGA ID.

The servers may be undergoing maintenance."

Which, obviously, isn't true. But I can't seem to connect now.

yesterday i was suddenly disconnected after experiancing item pick-up lag. it couldn't have been my connection as the internet didn't cut out over on the computer, and lagging out always happens the same way for me (can't pick up items, can't attack or be hurt, etc).

Well, I haven't had any serious issues yet (PS2/PS3). The online population definitely has fallen off a lot since it started to pick up earlier. Now nobody is talking or moving in the lobby.

update: just had my first LOD( lag of doom )...break time!

lol, I hope that's not a rollback I'm smelling, not that i have much to lose right now, i've only played maybe 2 hours today since it's so laggy, though I can't say the same for other people.
