Grind Boost?

I converted all my S Grinders but am still holding back to grinding my weapons because I read somewhere that the grind boost still wasn't in effect.

Is this true?


Also, is there a chart on the grind % based on the grind boost (instead of the default one in PSUpedia).

The boost is in effect. Otherwise I couldn't go to 4/10 with no chance of failure on an A-rank.

It's there, a number of players are getting their weapons to 7, 8, 9 and even full 10 grinds so its definitely there.

Some players just aren't among the lucky when it comes to grinding... Like me. Can't get ANY of my weapons past 5 grinds even when using S+8, S+9 and S+10's.

I can't seem to find it and I couldn't access PSUpedia for some reason (says "Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded").

I'm among the unlucky grinders.
5/10 Sn/g ->5/5 Sn/g sold it for 150 mil.
6/10 and 5/10 snakes _>9/9, 0/9
9/10 Barec -> 0/9
Nothing worked at all.
I still have the 150 mil and 99 S+10's I might just sell em. :(:( I might end up buying 3 10/10 Snakes, which was my goal to grind. At the current success/fail of my grinding, I will most likely save money buying em. Then selling the remainder snakes out of 209.

dude i just broke a Snake before but it was so gay its 4/10 S+9 for a 5/10 KABOOOM! 0/9 not only that i was using S+7, S+8, and S+9 the next grind for the 5/10 was success rate.... wait for it... Ack, I've overestimated the grind boost. I can't get any of my Promoto Rifles to 6, (they are all 0/8 now...), and my Guld Milla broke going from 4 -> 5 using an S+10 (is now 5/9). And one of my Pakudas broke 3 times just to get to +4.

Idk but why if its kubara i can rarely get it past 6 but if its like tenora,grm, or yohmei i can get it to 9 even 10 no problem >.> some broke but overall i could get to 8-10 w/o a problem

it is now boosted, but im having worse luck then last boost last time i got 3 S ranks 10/10 1 9/9 and a tone A ranks 7/10 8/10 i think im rushing it.
i looked at the grinding chart for the 15% boosted grinding, it say the chance of geting 10/10 S Rank with a S+10 is - 67.50% thats pretty much 70% .... Bullshiiiit

I broke a couple of weapons before, so I decided that, despite the grind boost, I would just grind my weapons at 100% success rate (though I was lucky to grind my Falclaw to 4/10) XD

Considering how hard it was to get some of my weapons (e.g. Falclaw and Drill Knuckles), I feel that PSU's grind system is a scam designed to "motivate" players to keep playing by pissing them off. Olpads are rare, Copernias are rare, Grinder Base S are rare, and Sega's telling me that, even with grind boost, I could break my rare weapons?

On the next game Sega, just make a [B]Monogrinder!

Are there any specail unseen grindbounses (other than the ones from STD) like switching from grind vendor to grind vendor? Because I made a 10/10 with no prob by switching (even though it was a B rank wepon)

99.999% sure there is not... But this "IS" Sega so who knows. If it makes you feel better and seems to work for you, go with it. But I'm sure there is no such special dances/activities that raise the chance of such things, other then the bonuses we get from events.

Lol, it could be like when you're required to button-smash to get something opened or accoplished on games. Button-smash = success? ;P Even though there's nothing special to increase odds. It's all luck.

It's easier to grind C, B, and A rank weapons. Harder for S rank weapons.

i think if the game can be updated (patched) to have a grinder boost, or any changes for that matter... maybe they made this boost rigged for grinding for S rank to 10/10 so its not to brake SEGAC+s economy.... im just saying guys so, its pretty sad for one guy i know one friend grinded 20+ Pakudac and failed for hes freakin 10/10 one he wants soo bad (poor fellow) he told me hes used like 60+ S+10s on those Pakudac's

I really want to try grinding some of my weapons, but I'm so scared of them breaking (trust me, I'm so amazingly unlucky I'll break using an s+10 going from +0 to +1). I don't know if I can put my Germinus through that kind of torture......

Well, there's no reason not to throw a couple of grinds on your weapons, with the boost. It's possibly to get to +2 without any chance of breaking, and +3/4 is pretty safe.

Besides, what does it really matter if it breaks? A 0/10 weapon is no better than a 0/9 weapon. Even a 3/3 weapon is stronger than a 0/10!

Back on original topic: No, there's no... "hidden" grind boosts. Lower rank weapons simply have a higher success rate.

I guess that's true. And theoretically, like 3 years down the road when we get the "pay-for-bonus" stuff, I can always buy a repair or three to restore any lost grinds on my weapons. Maybe the 50 base S's I have in storage will be converted into grinders now....

I used S+10 on my SN/G it broke at 9/10 8/9 7/8 and now its 7/7 I believe its all just based on random luck like everything else on this game
