If your having problems please post what you are willing to post:

-Platform(If PC, please list offical CPU model, GPU model(+driver version installed) and operating system. Are parts of your machine overclocked?)

-Country or Continent (if US declare whether you are west, central or east)

-General description of your internet connection (dsl 128kps, cable, adsl 128kps. satellite etc.)

-Do you use a router?

-When did these server errors, lag and d/cs begin occuring for you? (month/day, post Shred the Darkness? or just during this event?)

-do these errors frequently occur while in the lobby or in character rooms? how often?

-do these errors occur in all missions? how often?

-what missions have you experienced these errors in? how often?

Ill be submitting all information to SEGA West, or even ask support staff to read this thread. kthx.

For the most part ive troubleshoot every aspect of hardware, software and internet connection between two PC machines, one made in 2007 and the other 2009, only find myself d/cing in the same exact places of the event mission and general places of normal missions. These series of errors only started occuring for me post Shred the Darkness event. The first 10 hours after maintenance of this event i had no problems, then after the first error 060 login error period, i havent been able to complete a single, full mission.

Update: i found a fix for the problem on my main machine. What options you have available for your network adapter will vary.
-Network Connections > Local Area Connection > Right-click(properties) > Configure > Advanced Tab

-Checksum Offload
Changed from disabled to "Rx & Tx enabled"

-Flow Control
disabled

-Jumbo Frame
disabled

-Large Send Offload
changed from disabled to "enabled"

-Speed & Duplex
fixed at 100 Mbps Full Duplex

I disabled all power saving functions, WAN functions. Hope this helps others.

Alright, guess I'll be the first one to post then.

-PC (unsure of what the CPU is, as I'm not sitting in front of it right now), with a GeForce 8600 series (again, unsure of driver version), running Vista Home Premium, not overclocked.

-US - East Coast

-Cable - 2Mb/s

-Use a router

-Lagging started on the day the event started (07/03/2009) but on Tuesday (06/30/2009) had a problem connecting, getting an "Access disabled" message but from the reply I got from support, sounded like it wasn't related.

-They seem to occur more often when logging in and accessing storage in my room (as in PM storage, not common box storage). They occur often enough to make me worry when I store and retrieve items.

-Only mission I've seen a big lag spike in so far was the Event mission, can't remember if it happened the three times I ran Flowery Pursuit or not.
-Edit: I remember I did get one bad lag spike doing those runs, but since we only ran it three times (and I luckily got my first Igg crown then), I must have forgotten about it. The lag spikes seem to happen to me when I log in around 5:30 to 6:30 PM, and then again around 10:30 PM (at least these were the two times last night it got REAL bad).

Hope this helps.

PC Info is in my sig, I live in PA, US.
I have cable internet 16 mb/sec . Tried playing with and without a router, made no difference.
Lag has been since recent event started.
Lag occurs in missions mostly, occurring once in a while in lobby and room.
Have only gotten to complete new mission once, have d/c'd too many times to count.
Other games run fine on my computer at optimum levels, so it's not my computer/internet.

Platform: PC (Both computers, one old, one new)

Central US

Cable internet

Router in use, 10 Mbps wired, 1 Mbps wireless (Have used since launch of PSU with no issues)

Errors began Friday, with launch of event

Errors do not occur often in rooms, but this is a matter of time spent, much more time spent trying to do runs. Have not run other missions to see if its in others, but as I have gotten it outside of runs, I do not believe it is mission-specific. I have hit lag/DC in my room, loading screens, Colony 5th floor, and in the run, basically almost anywhere I've been.

I'm on PC (Dell Dimension 8300 -unsure of all specs atm --> can't possibly be the problem all of a sudden) Everything else runs fine, internet or not.
WindowsXp -- NVIDIA v6.4 -- no router -- Comcast cable internet -- US

I've been playing for 1.5 years and never had lag unless virus updates or something that causes hard disc to spin during gameplay. --> That would be nominal and only lasts a couple seconds. I experienced no lag at all during either MAG event or Winter Carnival.

Is this the normal lag? Movement, weapon swinging/firing and door openings are fluid and smooth as normal. Monster hits and damage taken don't register until 10 -20 seconds later. Neither does chat, weapon switching, or item usage register until all at once later. All the while I have to run and avoid shots or they do seem to "count" even though the monster may already technically be dead. Eventually, this time delay never restores and I disconnect. While storing or extracting items with PM or common box, time delay in an inventory page reappearing will occur. Sometimes the inventory page stays blank and never returns then disconnect. At one point, the exchangable casino prize menu would not genertate. Timing out in between going to room or screen loads has also occurred. Problems logging on seem to have been fixed as I can usually get on and struggle to get casino coins. I have yet to complete an event mission without disconnecting.

This all started 2 days before the event!!! -- something I don't think I've seen others post yet. It happened on Dancing Birds, White Beast, and Desert Terror I believe. Strangely, I was able to solo Dbirds and Mine Defense on C several times. While I could feel the lag here and there, I seemed to be able to manage since the monsters only took 1 or 2 shots.

I apologize for the length of this post but it sounds as if the OP is compiling some sort of diagnostic report. So - I hope this helps for everyone's sake.

If your having problems please post what you are willing to post:

-Platform: PC with Intel Core 2 Quad CPU 2.50GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT and Windows 7 RC Build 7100, nothing's overclocked

-Country: US East coast

-Internet: Cable 16mbs

-I use a router (physically connected) with the only other connection being a laptop I rarely use anymore

-Errors started the day the summer event started (July 3rd, 2009)

-Errors occur often and anywhere, from any and all missions to lobbies to characters rooms, including my own. I'd say I DC at least once a day, depending if I'm working or not, but Monday (the 6th), I had an Error 60 trying to get on. It went away, but it lasted about half an hour and was extremely annoying.

Any more information you need PM me and I'll edit this post.

I'd also recommend including a traceroute to the Sega game server. Assuming you are running Windows, go to a command prompt (Start -> Run -> "cmd") and type "tracert 198.176.10.1 > traceout" (minute the quotes). After that, find the file called traceout and copy/paste the output of traceout. It'd be interesting to see the dumps of "good" and "laggy" periods.

I use a router but I also tested it with a direct connection to my modem with no difference to performance.

These issues started to occur at the beginning of last weeks summer event

These issues occur randomly during gameplay. The uplaod seems fine as the red up arrow in the upper right portion of the screen is always on. Plus my friends can still see me moving around. However, I do not always recieve a signal from the server and the blue downstsream arrow is not highlighted for minutes at a time. I eventually either start recieving again and "catch up" to my friends or time out and disconnect.

I experience these problems in my room and in mission, any mission.

Yea whenever that blue arrow disappears for awhile, I have lag problems or I end up DCing. Hmm.

I'll definitely ditto on the issue of PC lag versus PS3 lag. My laptop generally runs well enough but I have a lot more trouble connecting and with lagging-out then getting disconnected due to a request from the server; which is too frozen-fu@#$ to request anything.

PS3 just mainly has item access lag and 10 second burps.

-do these errors frequently occur while in the lobby or in character rooms: The lags occur whenever I try to load a room, interact with NPCs, and I also DC during missions.

how often: I DC probably 3-4 times in a three hour period.
