It helps. If you want an idea of how this looks to dialups just view the page with your sig at 800x600 and then 640x480. Try to use your best judgement. imho its too high, but thats a personal statement, not a mod statement. I am just trying to avoid having godzilla sized sigs that are like 200k in size bringing dialups to a screeching halt.

well, I don't really notice speed since I'm on cable, but the image is wide enough to stretch my screen at 800x600, which I personally find annoying.

TRUE 800X600 is way too big unless you have one of those monitors that cant go beyond thatl
