% and weapon upgrading?

I currently have 42%+ Sweet Deaths, does it matter much if I upgrade to double agitos with same %'s?

Not a huge Att. difference, and I'd go as far as to say that the Sleep SE makes Sweet Death mildly more useful. Not to mention the fact that Sweet Deaths use fewer materials to synth.

The difference in base stats seem negligable to me, and sweet death can cause sleep which is good for a figmaster trying to set up for a jabroga ( you could put them to sleep then use your axe on them witout fear of interruption).

I used to be a massive fan of sweet deaths, as it was relatively easy to set up an uber set. But they do look damn ugly!

My only gripe with them (and Double Agito) is that they are too short.
But back to your question: I think you should stay with the 42% Sweet's. A Double Agito of the same element % will barely do more damage and lacks the Sleep SE that Sweet has.
