PSO timeline???

Has a year been confirmed for when Pioneer 2 arrives at Ragol? I thought it was and from some of the info I've found the game takes place in 3084? I tried searching for more but for some reason I'm having no luck. Being at work stinks I can't even remember if the game(DC version) says so. Actually a topic with PS I-O info would be nifty to have around for all the fic writers. There is a great topic somewhere about theories on the ruins and the monsters within. Oh well just a thought.

Heh... Camineet.net... Very nice site, it's webmastered by a buddy of mine from the PSDB. Some of his theories deal with some fairly controversial topics to old-school Phantasy Star, though... There've been extensive conversations on the PSDB, however, concerning the date of PSO. The general theory is that it did indeed take place in the year 3084 AUW, as confirmed by the name of the Hunters' Guild theme (Crossing 3084), and also further suggested by the year models of Flowen's Sword and DB's Saber. This would put PSO 800 years after Phantasy Star 4, which took place in 2284 AW, and 1800 years after Phantasy Star 2, which took place in 1284 AW. Now, the where the real mystery comes in, is how exactly the people of the Pioneer Project tie into Algol.
