It's that time again for a silly poll for silly times. Some of us are gradually recovering from burn-out; or are just hopelessly addicted ;). As veterans of PSO know there are just times when you want to do solo runs; or have to because no friends are active :(.

What are you doing during our current lull to pass the time?

Let's see:
Going through story missions (Ambition's End and Photon Harvest.)
Working on my PAs (Handgun bullets to 40. Not twin, just handgun. Penetrating Hit was easy. the rest aren't quite as easy)
Just mining for materials (Meteoric Metal and Spicia which is why I'm doing Ambitions End and Photon Harvest)
Still seeking that one rare (Moca's Frying Pan, here I come. :D )

Wasting time during the cut scenes in the story missions watching He-Man on youtube... wow, it's as bad as I remember, but in some ways it's better.

I'm trying to catch up on other games actually. Almost done with The Witcher EE. what a great game? I played like 10 hours straight last weekend!!

As iīm burned out (and havenīt got a real motivation to return yet), i try to get up and play..

Dissidia (on and off, its a great semi rpg-fighting game..but i giving it a rest)
Alundra (Great adventure-plattformer clone of Legend of zelda).
Grandia (classic rpg with beutifiul music).

And if i want a third choise, i go with Vagrant Story (terrific rpg with a interesting battle system, but pretty hard to master)

By the time iīm done, iīm gonna get a copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy for EU.
Iīve had the urge for the longest time to roll with these, but i want to go with the new control scheme to see if it gets better or for the worse.

PSU can wait for a while. Until something remotely interesting pops up.

Grandia (classic rpg with beutifiul music).

It took me a year of playing Grandia to level all of Sue's magic to 99 before the split... you don't know how long I was on Gadwin's Island. BTW Saturn version or Playstation version? I tried playing the US version of Grandia, but the dub voices weren't very good (in my opinion) and the load times for levels were horrible... Of course you could be talking about Grandia II or Grandia III in which case you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. :P

Well honestly i am mostly as everyone else training skills, why? i dont know... i mean theres no PVP or nothing so aside from making myself happy i dont really need to do more damage...the only real competition in psu is in sales, unless you and have to be the best at everything.

Yeah i got all my rifles to 31 (even killer and mayalee) and my shotguns, and Twin handguns, which is fine cause i prefer Fortegunner to Gunmaster...*clings to the Gur hanab* Yay for rotating Space probe!, but yeah i got all bullets atleast to 21, all im doing side from that is making some money, and working on buying some things i dont need but want anyway (Cubo Simba, Nasuyoteri, i think thats it....ill think of somthing else...) but yeah i dont need those, just want em for their looks. Though then again i have been leveling the elemental bows on PT and GT. Hey...is it just me or has there been select players having lagfests in psu? i got stuck trying to sit down....

Created a new character and made her acrofighter, and I love it, she sure is a speed demon!

With my main, sometimes I go repca hunting, or do Security Breach just for fun while lvling PAs.

I'd like to make some crea doubles+ and flowens+, so everyday I go to the casino to try my luck with my daily single silver coin lol

Aha, itīs the original one with the PSX and EU version.
Load times isnīt too bad. I got it plugged in the PSP with some program, so load times might be faster..i dunno. My Playstation 2 is broke so i got to go with what i got.

Any reason for that overlevling on magic?

I wanted to max out everyone's skills and magic. That's the only reason. It's pretty hard to do with Gadwin and Sue. Easy with Justin, Feena, Rapp, Milda, Guido, and Liete.

I'll miss the game when I quit it too. It's going to take something drastic to make me want to come back to it.

Yeah, don't leave out the Time Attack option for the elitists!

You don't have to be an elitist to TA.
It's something to do, it's fun, and adds a twist to the game.
You don't have to have 50% 10/10 weps to TA, it's just ideal.

Indeed, TA is more or less a test too push yourself harder.

You get plenty of it speed running for the "elusive" rares.
But i canīt get any enjoyment of that in PSU, it feels like slave-work.

Oh, I wasn't serious about the elitist thing, don't worry. :D I liked to TA, too! :)
Brings back memories of my fav mission Desert Goliath I would always solo.

I'd TA if PS2 allowed it..

and where's the option for, soloing just to pass time?

i have nothing to hunt.
the PA's i need to level i'm in no hurry or mood to do at the moment.
all my characters but one are at cap.
i've gone through story mode 3 times and have all cards for my 3 capped characters.

this game needs more something.

Yeah, sorry I had to count the number of responses I would allow and I forgot about Time Attackin' and just the chance to kill some time.

I've been watching the luck on my guys to make a choice on who to use. With some luck I have been doing some overdue bullet levelling along with some low-level mining.

If I get 3* I just go for Innocent Girl runs since the rewards are so good...and I still haven't seen a Gur Hanab.

Keep running it!

It helps to run it with a non-capped character so there's incentive to actually run it...

I've gotten 2 Hanabs from the mission.
