There was once an old spider who lived in a shoe; it had so many legs, it didn't know what to do. Then one day, the spider met a big bad foot, so the spider bit the nasty footsie twice on each of its five toes. After twelve days, the bites healed, leaving 10 tiny puns in their place. The woman to whom this foot belonged entered the puns in a short-form humor contest she'd read about while browsing the magazines in her dentist's waiting room, along with a bundle of dirty limericks and a few raunchy haiku (you'd be surprised how much graphic imagery about springtime frog sex you can jam into just 3 short lines). Anyway, you're probably wondering by now just how those 10 spider-bites-turned-puns fared in this contest. Did any of them win?
