Game Word Association With a Twist [Archive]

Alright, I know how you guys have had a lot of those word association games. However, I don't like them because people blast words out at almost lightspeed. So, I made a new game to make us think a little bit while following the same basic rule. I propose we use a grid.

Person 1 Posts:

This is just how normal play works. You put something related next to a word that was already there.

Person 3:

Here's where the twist comes in. Where there are two or more words adjacent (up, down, left, or right) of a blank space, what you put in must relate to both or all of the words that are already there.

Great idea Tact, though we need a name for it. Crosswords isn't only taken but self referential to its own current definition. Scrwordble sounds cool but technically isn't all there.

I don't know, it seems a waste to not call it something for later reference or resurfacing matches.

I actually had to tone it back a bit from what I originally had.
Ironically, classes seem to have diluted my ability to command spontaneous vocabulary temporarily.
