3rd Anniversary Thanks Festa
* Due to popular demand, the 3rd Anniversary Thanks Fest has been extended by two weeks! The event will now run through November 5.

Seasonal event
* Halloween lobbies (and Rappy Latans) return to Gurhal for two weeks. Decorations will be in place through November 5.

New GUARDIANS Cash mission
RELICS Preservation (http://www.psupedia.info/RELICS Preservation)
* This is a training mission created by the supervisor's office. Clear out the native creatures from the surrounding area of a small RELICS site discovered at Raffon Meadow! Client: Holupe Dence
* This mission offers boosted EXP and PA EXP, so it is ideal for raising characters.
* You must be no greater than LV60 to accept this mission. Even if you have the required GC, if you are not within the required level range, you will not be able to play.
* Container contents will vary depending on your type and party make-up.

System adjustments
* Photon Fortune will be updated for all races (so that we are not repeating the same chart from last year).
* The equipment requirements of Morat Machinas and Motav Prophecy will be eased up.

Items
* New weapons will be added.
* The remodeling ticket Halloween Night will be available for the duration of the Halloween lobbies (through November 5).
* Casino rotation.

It's also in popular demand for Lavis Cannon to drop more often, wish ST would listen to these people too!

"Dear ST, if you could just make Lavis Cannon drop more frequently, then people wouldn't be so eager to ask for an extension to the event, and then you could give us some actual content for once, such as GAM Third Stage?"

JP doesn't get content often?
New to me.

Well, 6 weeks is too long for an event...

Volcompat321
Oct 15, 2009, 05:19 AM
Oh, but you guys still get content?

and then you could give us some actual content for once

I do agree that 6 months for an event is too long though.

yeah, Sega, please increase the droprate of Lavis Cannon to that of Vulcaline =)

i mean, come on! it's not like 98% of the items in this game weren't already obtainable easy as hell! especially during events!
ever played PSO? 1/200000 items, anyone? >_>
don't get me wrong, i like the fact that PSU is a online RPG for casual gamers, and that you don't have to do much to get good equipment, but.. there should at least be SOME rare weapons which are rare enough that you really can be proud if you got one! =)

so yeah.. i want this event ASAP on our servers so i can hunt for Lavis Cannon >_<

and lol @ more GC missions

EDIT: wouldn't it be funny if Lavis Cannon also dropped in the new GC mission? xD

Yeah, we got MAG+....
Oops I meant weeks not months :p

So the only new stuffs in this few weeks are the mission that only lv 60 or below can do ? :S

well, I thought it would be some actual new good drop GC mission that is not rotation.
I don't mind to have more time hunt Lavis cannon and level my MF tho. (and practice drawing time!)

thank for info Espio!

Just because newman FM can't equip Morat until 190 is no reason to lower the requirement, they can wait until 190!

New GC mission is ridiculous, 1-60 is a day of Innocent Girl, why pay for something that's so simple already.

Event extension is crap, should have just had maintenance yesterday and upped the Lavis droprate, that's all that matters. No reason for it to be rare enough to hit 500m when it's just a saber.

Oh well 2 more weeks of redline selling...

Ok, this is rich...you guys complained about the lack of updates on the US server, so you move to the JP server...and now you're complaining about lack of updates on the JP server? There's just no pleasing you guys!

A person should know what they're talking about before running their mouth.

Lina and I have never been on US/EU servers, we've been on JP since the very beginning.

And two 6 week events nearly back to back with one of the worst GBRs yet in between is a long time between updates not to bitch about. It was June since our last GAM, which are the only missions worth touching on these servers now.

Ok, my apologies, but it still puzzles me. I merely judged by what I was reading, so you can hardly blame me for that. And this just further proves what I've been saying about SoJ being the ones giving us the shaft and not SoA.

And you didn't say anything in this thread about having never played on the US/EU servers, Ceresa.

So, with what limited information I had from this thread, yes, I did know what I was talking about. But I meant no disrespect to you or Lina, Ceresa. I was mostly referring to the people that had played on the US/EU servers.

Ceresa
Oct 15, 2009, 12:11 PM
Fair enough.

But no matter how crappy your updates are, JP updates being "Better" doesn't automatically qualify them as being "good."

Colony GBR - deserted after boost
Parum GBR - deserted after boost
Neu GBR - deserted after boost
Misc Party missions - deserted after a week

And where did the players go? Back to White Beast and Seed Express. Remarkably similar to your playing experience, except we have more updates to call shit before going back to WB/SE.

Supplemental Update, GC, and GAM are the only noteworthy things they've added all year. Rest is just two overlong events in between Seed Express.

Oh not that WB/SE are worth running anymore, those armors are ultra common thanks to these long events. Just GAM to run now and we've been stuck in Stage 2 since April!

That's JP updates, or rather, that's PSU. You don't think that's worth complaining about?

I'm not saying you guys have a right to complain or not, and you guys don't complain nearly as much as the US/EU server, but I do think you are not getting how bad the US/EU server is.

It's horribly bad compared to JP. If we would get half your updates in even half the time you guys did, we wouldn't be a year behind.
We probably got 1/16 of what you got, but 10 times slower.

Now, I'm not saying when we do get the stuff you guys have, we wont complain, cause you know people will always complain, but I am saying, this is bullshit.
No offense to you or Lina, but by my ignorance I cant stand when JP players complain about the "lack" of JP updates. At least you guys have events and GBR to complain about.
Up until recently, we didn't have that.

But still, I know where you guys are coming from, and I fully understand. This is more of a little mini rant to SoJ than you, sorry if it feels like I'm attacking you or Lina.

Ceresa
Oct 15, 2009, 03:35 PM
Neudaiz...

Mizuraki doesn't even have endboxes, and the monster drops are god awful
Demon's Above has a non-tradable Demon's Heart that might be good, might be useless and nothing else
Sakura Blast and Flowery are the same drops as S2, except for burgac boards on S3...right after we had 6 weeks of burga boards at 2m or less.

I really dont understand why JP players are complaining about the updates.... >_>; Its like a slap in the face to the US/EU players who rarely get updates, and when we do they kinda suck and come with 50 glitches and errors that keep people from playing.

Yes I can see why the updates can seem sucky, but I ASSURE you, that players on our servers would be sooo grateful to recieve updates as frequent as JP. Plus, I feel that the quality of content released after Supplemental has gone up.

Its like....complaining about having a bad meal in front of homeless people.

I agree, good analogy too!
Though I'm not saying they don't have a right to complain, cause they do pay, just like us.
Only they get more for their buck.

That's a terrible analogy.

Do you eat on the street in front of homeless people often? I eat at home or in a restaurant, pretty normal I think! If a homeless guy comes in to a Mcdonalds of his own free will, knowing that he can't afford to eat there, then he should be prepared to suck it up when the people there complain that the fries weren't salty enough.

And when you come in to a thread marked PSUJP, you should be prepared for the people on these servers to call the updates shit!

Hey guys I played on the local server for years and I also think the JP updates are shit. Oh no there goes your argument.

I know it might seem outlandish to people who think updates of any sort are a great boon, but the JP updates are indeed shit. Remember when we got the most recent Moatoob GBR and everyone whined about how boring and pointless it was after three days? Yeah, that's how every update on JP is lately. Everything other than Supplemental and GAS. I've sort of enjoyed the events, but my only character is only level 84 (and I only play a few times every other month!), so I definitely understand why capped players find even the events boring.

Volcompat321

I agree with you Ceresa, about the last part.
I wasn't trying to be rude to you personally.
I think it was more toward PSU.

Anyway, let's not start a war :D

Kinako78
Oct 15, 2009, 11:27 PM
Yeah, I agree with Volcompat. I wasn't trying to start a war and I wasn't saying you have no right to complain. I'm just tired of all the whining (you're not whining, Ceresa, so I don't mean you) as a whole and even more tired of how SoJ gives everyone the shaft.

sega why is it so hard to update our servers ? atleast you guys get updates we get to run white beast and seed express all day and get nothing of value. even if your updates in jp are shit atleast you get updates because all we get over here is left-overs.

Kinako78
Oct 15, 2009, 11:49 PM
Shadow...please don't continue this argument...and no one's making you run WB or SE all day. Round up a group of friends and go run something different.

Better get used to it. With Guardians Cash around....those are the frequent updates you're going to see. This game has been out for three years now and the JP server still doesn't have everything, especially level 200. lmfao

i happen to agree with Ceresa on this whole thing.

just because sega updates the JP servers more often doesnt exactly mean they're great updates. just like with our crappy moatoob GBR, and plenty of our other "updates" we've seen a major lack of content, and by most "MMO" standards you can hardly call them actual updates.

and to the US/EU people. even if we got all the updates on US/EU side we'd still have people complaining about something. an update is nothing to go "gaga" over when it can hardly be categorized as such.

if sega got their act together and gave us full on updates, as in, new skins, weapons, maps, missions, story. then i can agree that people complaining need to stfu, but when the update is one old mission that they updated to S3, or a crappy level 60 and under mission that you HAVE to PAY for, and most people can't run because all their characters are already at the current cap, then it's hardly something you can call a true update.

Um, you don't have to make assumptions on where I eat. :P

Its like walking out of a fancy restaurant, walking past a couple homeless people, and complaining with your company about the bad food you just ate. I hope that makes sense for you now. I can elaborate further if you want.

Generally, I actually like whats in the game, its just we don't get MUCH on our side and there is no one to play with when we actually get stuff.

Of course we can agree to disagree. I just personally feel complaining from JP servers isn't really justified. But then again, I don't play JP so all I know is what I can read in these threads.

I kinda see where you are coming from.... However, I'd personally rather get a lot of frequent updates that I might not like as opposed to rarely getting any at all.

Volcompat321
Oct 16, 2009, 02:02 AM
If I get something more than just running a simple mission, say GBR, it gives you something to shoot for.
I couldn't care less about drops, and it's just interesting to have a higher goal, than kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, get drops, restart.

Maybe I'm just too easy to please.
I'm not complaining about the complainers, I'm just saying.
Even with out US/EU "crappy updates" I'm still having fun.
Sure, I want more content, weps/armors/units mainly, but I could deal with a mission or two.

I thought it was a great analogy. Maybe to some it didn't fit here, but if you look at it as if it were to something else, it makes sense.
I think I'd use this one where it fits. lol.

Updates are updates... most people's attention spans are either very limited or extremely limitless these days.

The one update that is worth looking out for is the one that makes all of the v1 missions the same payout as the AotI missions and more S3 missions - but that's fairly lame. Sort of...

I would love to say that I enjoy the game a lot and everything it has to offer but it's a real dead end once I get all of my PAs capped and my friends leave the game for FFXIV or something else.

I'm fairly interested in the PSP and PSP2 games though - Protranser getting Twin Claws, Rifles AND Rods while losing out on the Saber/Handgun combo just seems like an amazing gift to me, heh. (At least, I think they get Rifles...)

Besides, dressing up as Saber or Archer from Fate / Stay night..?! Oooh yeah..!

I think something along those lines in PSP1. As for PSP2, there's no evidence that there will be a Protranser class at all, and in fact, there's evidence against it. However, you do get to pick your own weapon proficiencies, both category and grade, so you could presumably make a PT-like class out of the Braver that gets those twin claws, rifles, and rods you're ogling.
