Also, I'd say again that this is a pretty clear style choice. I'm not a fan of it, but it reminds me of some graffiti/anime styles that I've seen.

Now, I understand you're going to an art school, and those sorts of professors are usually pretty clear in the idea that there's a right way and a wrong way to do things (specifically - their way of doing things is the right way), but in the real world that's not always true.

I wouldn't say that it's the most followed show of the season (in the same way Code Geass, the recent Gundams), unlike say, Bakemonogatari, not was it as hyped up as the horrendous attempt to butcher a good audio-book-game-thingie (I'm looking at you Umineko).

But it's certainly a welcome deprature from all mecha/magic/massacre/serious plot things we got for some time now.

Because overt seriousness causes kidney stones in the long run. Heart attacks too.
