Apparently I've caught it. Like the same week that vaccinations came out.
Not cool.

You call it H1N1, I'm calling it the swine flu. I'm glad I haven't gotten it yet and I'm taking every precaution to make sure I never do.

That sucks.

I guess you've got plenty of bed rest scheduled in your near future, huh?

Actually we all have it. My mother caught it first.

And I've had it for a few days now. It's quite unpleasant. =/

Put up those air-locks and pump up on those Vitamin C pills.

No, seriously, take medicine, lay down for a bit if you have to and try to not go outside much.

I rarely get sick so I am none too worried I go to college in the medical wing so they UV the place at night XD
I also use hand sanitisers because they are there.
Mainy because my immune system is quite agressive (Allergies can be a bitch my body goes to war with pollen)

Throw some Vitamin D in there. And I AM serious about it.

Rant? But like not as bad/same/omg as PSYOU!
Wrong forum-G. Up one if you are looking for rants.

See the cat opens your soup cans, maybe. As in cat thread, your cat saves you from the shower. Already concerned for your welfare.

I recommend theraflu.
I don't know if it actually helps the being sick aspect, but you'll be too sleepy to care.

Oopsie. Well I know plenty of guys that had the virus, some got rather sick while others did not really have a hard time. Hope for the latter for you guys, too. :)
But in the end it is just a normal flu, which I just have had last week. (Or was it H1N1? Too late to check!) :p
Still rather unpleasant, of course.

Yeah, symptom wise, unless you're unlucky, it's about the same as regular flu. At this point, I don't really have a fever anymore, but the constant coughing is making it very hard to sleep, even if I take something that will supposedly help suppress coughs.

Got some orange juice, and I've been drinking milk, too. Can't really sunbathe for natural vitamin D though, what with the weather. XD

Did you at least take advantage of the couple of days off from school/work/whatever?

Sometimes that can be nice.

It's been okay, though I'd honestly prefer that it just stop so I can get back to normal existence. XD

What are the symptoms of H1N1? I think someone from my work may have it. I CANNOT afford to miss work. Expecially after dealing with that rip-off dentist. I wish I got that female dentist. God...MILF alert.

Same as a normal flu, really. There's no way to tell which kind of flu you have besides letting your doctor check.

H1N1 is mostly hype at this point anyways.

I thought milk during a flu is no go. But then you're getting the Vitamin D - which is a username around here too - from it.

The whole death-risk thing is mostly hype, though around here at the moment it's gotten to the point where Doctors won't actually test if you have it, they just look if you have flu symptoms and respond with 'grats, you have it', since it's pre-empted the normal flu season here by about a month and so many people have it right now.

If I get the flu it will probably be H1N1... I already had the regular flu shot

Yeah, the flu sucks one way or the other.

Just trying to look on the bright side.
