What is the command to get into first person mode for shooting? I can't seem to figure it out. On PSP I believe it used to be select but it's replaced with a in game keyboard option. Any help would be good. Thanks!

Indeed.
Stop moving, L+Dpad down is such a smooth transition.
Makes first person mode mcuh easier to access quickly.

I think it just feels better to be able to keep my finger on the joystick rather than stop and do it. I can see what you guys mean though.

Yeah. It's a shame all my help texts got buried in the PSP2 Demo impressions thread. Nobody can pick up on them now. Stuff like that almost needs a sticky of some sort, or other questions, like this, will find new topics.

We need a lot of stickys, (not to mention our own sub-forum) :)

I switched accidentally to first person view a pair of times, don't ask me how, but I'm used to ALWAYS move the camera, even locked-on to an enemy... It's easy on a controller, but I can't figure how can I do it on the PSP lol (I will check it next time it happens to me xD)

Technically, with the L-button down, any D-pad direction will toggle the FPS mode on or off. You have to go back to the Analogue nub to move the camera in First Person.
Also, it's much easier to simply use the X button to come out of First Person than to use the L-trigger D-pad toggle off feature. Because one button exits are extremely important since you're a sitting duck in first person.

They should add a "shooter movement" in the aiming mode, like Tecmo did with Sigma 2, being able to strafe, aim and shoot at the same time, with weapons limitations included (handguns can strafe and shoot, rifles can't, etc), they already added lock-on on ranged and technik combat...

I can see that they, on purpose, wanted to make First Person targetting a little more unsafe. Of course, the bigger question is about bosses with certain points high in the air. In some cases, you need to be in first person to hit them, but the new bosses are a lot more dangerous for First Person mode. They generally move faster, and attack more ferociously. It definitely leaves very little time to go into first person, shoot for a weak point, and then move in time. Hopefully, they thought of this, and made certain boss weak points slow them down. That'll make the payback of going First Person to hit it more worth it. Otherwise, the effort to go First Person *maybe squeeze off one round* wont exactly match the effectiveness of staying out of it and drilling them while on the move.
