Do you feel uncertain of yourself when you go apply for a job?
Do you need reassurance on the work that you do?
Do you answer questions of opinion by "I dunno..."?
Do you avoid decision-making by saying "Do whatever you want."?

If so, then you are a:

PUSSY

We'll get something straight between us, little pussy. The only reason you're alive is because we let you. You are nothing. You are a pack animal. You are meatshield. You are food. You are sustenance. We should be cannibalizing you for your meat so we can feed the remaining alpha males in Africa and make hard workers out of 'em. You exist only because you are so infuriatingly malleable that we can bend you to our will without effort. We could tell you to jump off a bridge and you'd do it. We could tell you to impale your ass on a telephone pole and you'd take it all the way to the neck. You have no personality. You have no qualities except the one that we give you. If we tell you that you are good, then you are. And if we tell you that you suck, your world falls around you. You are intimidated by everything you see. You keep complaining that everything is too much for you. I could drop a toothpick on your head and you'd treat it like a fucking log.

You, pussy, are the one who will never raise his concerns. You are the one who will systematically agree with everything we tell you. And if we ask you directly? Good fucking luck. You'll do every trick in the book to escape the obligation of having to answer. Forget leaving something in your charge; you'll conveniently disappear in the hope of leaving the responsibility to someone else.

You would be nothing without us. You have no spine. You have no bones. You are a slave, a fucking nobody. And the reason I can go and say that is because you'll take it without even so much of a reply when you really should be punching me in the face for it. But you don't. You shut up and you take it without a word, whether I am justified or not.

Where are they gone, those people who actually stand up? Where are the people who are able to make and back-up their decisions? Where are those who actually assume the consequences of their deeds and fucking live with it? Nobody does that anymore. Nobody has any balls. I'm surrounded by pussies!

I can say alot about jobs and how hard it is to get them. But as long as you stay in school and do good. Sky's the limit! And please please, don't go to school for something that will be taken by a robot in 30years! Think people! I'm a RAD tech and I want to be a Dr one day(Don't think that will happen cause I play way too many games!) And as hard as that may sounds. I try never to give up. Saving money, studying, getting out of bed with a drop dead hott ass chick to go to work! It can be real crazy. But I think its better than welfare or any other bullshit that lets people get money and do shit with there life. I tell you like this, what ever your good at do it! And never look back, cause it would be your friends (Who still do dumb shit) that's gonna hold you back! And keeping it real, I'm from the ghetto! And got out of it! And I'm only 28!! So if I can do it so can you! Stay cool sis and they way you write is sick (Meaning real good)

Hey... I had no idea. I might have that too. :O

Well, it only applies to some people, but... "the constant feeling that everyone is judging and laughing at me behind my back" ...sounds like it was taken out of my mouth. :/

I think that applies for everyone, though more so for some.

Think about it.
Girls, mostly put on make-up to "look better" (in quotes, because sometimes it make the girl look worse), because girls fear they will be judged by others.

Your worst judge is yourself, and that applies to everyone.

That happens to me most times when I'm out in public, especially around females. It's doubly bad for me, too, seeing as I have "Broken Heart Disorder"(just a name my doctor used for describing my dangerously irregular/weak heartbeat, and accompanied chest pains), as well.

Speaking of my chest problems, I'm having a hard time sleeping tonight, due to my heart stinging in my chest with every beat. Oh, well: back on-topic.

KodiaX987

When I say, "I don't care," I really mean I don't care. But yes, pussies suck, and attract them.

I'll expand on this point since there can be a lot of room for interpretation.

On one hand, there is a legitimate notcarisim (neology!) in which yes, the person really, truly does not care and does not wish to form an opinion or statement on the subject since he doesn't consider it important enough to be worthy of attention. Example: "Which console are you rooting for?" "I don't care; I don't even have time to play games nowadays so the latest console generation pretty much flew six feet above my head."

On the other hand, there's this sort of somewhat pathological escapism from voicing one's opinion on a quick question for something that'll be done in the immediate future. Which restaurant do you guys wanna go to? Simple, isn't it? There's a Subway, there's the steakhouse, smoked meat, pizza, pasta, Thai, etc. If a person isn't sure what he wants, perhaps he can at least say what he does not want. Maybe he had pizza for dinner last night and isn't interested in pizza for this lunch. Anyway - this simple question comes up on a regular basis at the office, and several persons can't even answer that. When you run a survey in the room and all the responses you get are "well, wherever you guys want", we haven't moved a fucking inch forward.

I also hear a lot of "I don't care" as some cheap-ass way to dissociate oneself from consequences. Kind of a subtle way of saying "If you take my suggestion and it goes belly up, don't come saying it's my fault, because I reject responsibility." It comes off as someone who wants to voice a concern but somehow believes he's gonna come off as confrontational. It's the same as "I'm not pissed at you but...", or "I don't wanna put pressure on you but...". For more information, see: no offense but you suck (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49734).

For me, it's a fucking puke inducing mistake. Yes, that bad. And I'm not even into literature. I have no idea how the fuck someone thinks "of" fits into that context. Seriously. It makes no sense whatsoever.

What's even worse, is that only native speakers of the language does this mistake (and mostly American such, from what I've picked up). Same with the "your" as "you are"-mistake, mostly. Makes me really wonder why Americans are puzzled by the fact most foreigners think they're stupid.

Note: With this post, I am not calling Americans stupid. Read it more thoroughly if you think so; it's merely explaining why people might think so.

Because the Europeans who type their text phonetically are way too retarded to type in english to begin with. So it's perfectly normal to see EU members typing pretty correctly on english-speaking message boards.

At least, that's how it works with french people.
The texting language is a common plague around here. They don't even manage to decipher their shit when talking between each other.

He's saying most Europeans on English Message boards have high English literacy. Europeans (Non UK) who use phonetic speech or are English illiterate probably would not use an English message board. He's also saying people who use "text speak" don't decipher what they're saying, usually because they use their own made up abbreviation for a phrase and expect people to know what they're saying.

Sorry to hear about that. I hope you're keeping a good eye on it. As I'm sure you know, when you heart goes into arrhythmia, it's skipping out of it's normal rhythm. If it's accompanied by pain, then that may be indicative of a more serious condition... or a panic attack. I hope you and your doctor are monitoring it, because that pain could also be caused by the heart muscles suffocating and becoming damaged if the heart just lays in your chest and quivers. Or it could be a sign that your coronary arteries are damaged/clogged.

If you haven't already, I'd suggest making an appointment with a cardiologist to get checked out. Even if it's nothing, if heart palpitations/murmers are common for you then it may be all the harder to distinguish when a heart attack does occur.

Btw: Protip, when you go to the doctor... never tell them what you think you might have. Just give them your symptoms and answer their questions. Self-diagnosing and filling the doctor in could trigger confirmation bias, and from that, misdiagnosis. Ever wonder why drug companies advertise prescription only drugs to YOU on TV? That's part of it.

Well, I do feel uncertain of myself when I apply for a job, but I'm far from a pussy. It's called nervousness. It doesn't make you a pussy; it makes you human.

Naw, it still makes you a pussy Biggie. Just not was quivering and sloppy as some. If you're not a leader, you're a gutless follower. What in Thus Spake Zarathustra Nietzsche described as "das Überpussy" - the mass of vanilla humanity, whom the Übermensch would overcome and lead by his sheer determination, his strength of character, and the will to power to lead a new human race out of the festering masses... because he got tired of the rest of humanity being too stuck in a cycle of "Whatever you want... doesn't matter to me either way."

Ironically, their mealy mouthed indecisiveness is in itself steadfastly decisive. They will lead the pack and stand up for themselves only when it comes to deciding not decide, and doing whatever you guys want to do. It's totally cool with them.

Hah. Someone that also gets extremely annoyed when people write "could/should/would of"?

For me, it's a fucking puke inducing mistake. Yes, that bad. And I'm not even into literature. I have no idea how the fuck someone thinks "of" fits into that context. Seriously. It makes no sense whatsoever.[/SIZE]

No offense man, but you're not too sharp on your grammar & syntax skills yourself. Granted, you're not a native English speaker (I assume, CMiIW) - and I generally don't give a shit so long as it's legible. Just saying, you're not one to point fingers. So pet peeve or not, you probably shouldn't be throwing stones. At least, not until after you've traded up to a Plexiglas house.

Should of/could of/would of are common mistakes, but with English, once a mistake (or slang) becomes widespread enough in popular use - it will be adopted into the language. For example, when I was in elementary school, we used to get yelled at for saying the word "Ain't". It's "Is not/Am not/Are not/etc". But nevertheless, here we are with "Ain't" as an official listing by Merriam Webster; "Although widely disapproved as nonstandard and more common in the habitual speech of the less educated, ain't in senses 1 and 2 is flourishing in American English. It is used in both speech and writing to catch attention and to gain emphasis."

At this point, it's still a mistake, but it's reached the level of slang where people WILL differentiate the proper "Could have" in technical writing, and "Could of" in common speech. It's only a matter of time before it's usage becomes proper.

Socks-tah'be-ewe.

It's a pretty American thing to do, from what I've seen, to type things out as they would he heard phonetically.

We're too busy being free and independent to learn a language we already speak. Whatever gets the point across is good enough. Only pussies care about making their writin' look neat and cowing over to the "establishment". The same kind of pussy ass guys who have to sit down to take a #2, just like a woman. That's not REAL 'merican.

Not to mention that about 1/5 American high-school graduates are functionally illiterate. Toss another 20 million Americans on who can't read over a 5th grade level without difficulty. No wonder our news media writes for the 8th grade level. So yeah, I'd say no shit a lot of Americans type phonetically. They're still in elementary school.

On the downside... it makes us look bad when some former-Soviet satellite nations like Tajikistan are kicking our butts at reading & writing competence. And the internet has been the meat grinder for the slow readers to butcher the language upon. But on the bright side, at least people are fucking writing SOMETHING, engaging with it somehow. The internet has brought about a second renaissance in personal writing & publishing. Whereas these people used to just wipe their asses with books in the days before toilet paper, now they're scribbling on the pages, wiping their ass with it, and putting it online for all to see. The shit makes it stick to the screen better, you see.

(And for the record, Tajikistan are ranked #4 in the world according to Wikipedia, though on a different scale. They beat out AU, EU, and NA by .6% pop who can read on SOME lvl.)

Read it and weep. (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Ain%27t) It's even got the pronunciation and entomology.

Ain't on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ain%27t)

Ain't is a colloquialism and a contraction originally used for "am not", but also used for "is not", "are not", "has not", or "have not" in the common vernacular. In some (rare) dialects it is also used as a contraction of "do not", "does not", and "did not" (e.g. I ain't know that). The word is a perennial issue in English usage. It is a word that is widely used by many people, but its use is commonly considered to be improper.

It's still very much a trailer trash association, but it's there.
