Well, I went right from DC v2 to Xbox. Wonder If I can vote ?
I considered GC, but couldn't shell out $500 total to import everything while I already had an Xbox (and ADSL).
Somehow, I'm really glad to have waited. I'm enjoying now a dupe-free PSO, communicating with everyone online too (either Keyboard or Voice-chat).
The communication part of the game is very important to me. I think I wouldn't be able to endure the GC version with 75% of the players unable to speak without the shortcuts/soft kb. So That was the main selling point to me, and might be for others to consider switching.
You can't be sure that Xbox will STAY dupeless.
I just consider these 5 weeks since launch (and more to come) without dupes as a nice bonus.

Mhmm, I actually purchased an xbox instead of a gamecube just so i could play PSO with good communication. Ive actually fallen in love with the xbox reguardless of PSO tho, its like Dreamcast2.
