Does this mean that psp2 will have the same net play as psu?

Have you played the Adhoc Party in JP yet Gozyt?
I wouldn't really call it similar. I will admit it's pretty nifty though. Just disconnects more than I think it should.

what he meant is that PSP2 has online mode, meaning it doesnt need adhoc party to go online.

It's pretty easy to get and use with an online guide or two.
It's not similar to PSU at all really. There are universes, kind of like the servers in PSU, but they're organized alphabetically, and each one has 50 or so "sub-universes" where you actually get to meet people and start games.
PSO-W's unofficial section is "C-6"
It's nice cause you can use the blutooth (bluetooth?) headset for some voice chat with your friends. It also has keyboard support and yadda yadda yadda.
To be honest, I don't know why they didn't just incorporate Adhoc Party into PS Home. Not that I like Home, but I think it'd be a good way to build up a friend's list for PSP games.
I for one, am really excited for the English release, so I can read all the Error Codes finally. :p
You should know, the interface is downright awful in my opinion. It's all just green and white and all ugly. Don't even try playing on a standard TV, it'll give you a migraine.

oh ok my mistake i guess im a little late so am i correct in assuming the most popular way to play online right now is through some means with the ps3?

You can actually change the green background. Now that I can read the menus I was able to put a nice calming background picture instead of that horrid green.

I put a background in the JP one, by accident. lol.
I didn't know what I was doing, then I hit something, and saw my pictures come up, so I clicked one and it put the picture on the background!
