ST lied....

today, my character got corrupted...my 5th mem cards corruption...screw ST and screw Sega...after promising FSOD corruption was through...they lied...what really gets at me though is the hard work I put in: getting an S-rank, almost to ulti, and all the friends I made along the way...gone...someone go cuss Sega out for me...

Most of the people I hear corruption complaints from were on Vega so while it might not be the ship itself it may be the amount of people on it.

Wait, did you FSOD during the second save while joining a game or was it a normal FSOD that corrupted you? If the former, were you the 4th person to join a team?

thats what im wondering, ST said the second save curroption was fixed, nothing more.....

But still, sorry to hear of your loss.

But also, if you were below 80, you can get back to your level in maybe 4-5 days lol, I say go back to PSO!

It's things like FSOD that are making me scared to go online with my GC. My file got deleted once, and I had to start all over, I don't want that to happen again.

Someone posted a method to undo a corrupted memorycard awhile back,,it involved needing 2 cards and...oh well someone might post a link to it, I never bookmarked it =(

Report the problem to customer support at the HL page.

1) Load up PSO with a second memory card.

2) Go offline, character select screen

3) Take out mem card, insert damaged one. If you can select a character, load up into the game, then quit and save. It should be fixed now. If not, go to step 4.

4) Go to memory card menu using the Cube. Delete guild card file, then go back to step 1.

If this doesn't work, then your file is beyond repair.

heh, tried EVERYTHING...deleted guild file, swaped memory cards in char select, online, and offline...I was trying to get it to save swapping the cards...no luck...final conclusion: mem card is dead...court ajourned...
