A: Both, not the same, and more.

Q: Where did it happen before now?
A: Sending a PM, tabbing User CP. Thought it might send 2 or more, or tell me "Buddy, stop sending more than one PM @ the same time, on our 30 second pack mules."

Q: How did that end up?
A: Only 1 PM was sent, User CP kicked in about the same time as the successful "It was sent" message returned -> back to Inbox.
