Mag Material Limits

Ok I know about the Material limit and that Cast's get 80 verse 100 but can you just trade over a 100 material mag to a cast? I mean like train my mag on a HUnewm and then switch over to cast or something stopping that from occurring? Also can the Material limit be described more? I am assuming limit means max level. But reading around I am not sure. :-? (Sorry if this seems like a no brainier/dumb question)

press start and then press L and mags are items so put it in your joint trunk

Material are used on yourself... You don't feed them to Mags.

Mags have their own limit which is Lv100 distributed among all their stats (i.e. 60/40/0/0, 20/30/20/30, etc). Each item you feed them raises a stat bar by a certain amount, and when that stat bar fills up, the Mag levels and gives you 1 point in that stat.

Ok, thanks for the answer. I did (do) know how to trade over but I guess I don't understand the Con of having 80 materials verse 100 when comparing the classes. I assumed it had to do with Mags but guess not. Thanks for the help. :D
