So I'm making a new RAcaseal and have been starting a mag for her. I would like to know if it's good or did I go too far in one stat. :P
Hagal- lv 70
Power- 17 (for now)
Guard- 18 (for now)
Hit- 35
Mind- 0
I was planning on 35 hit, 20 guard and 45 power. This look like a good RAcaseal mag?
Thanks.

RAcaseal have the highest ATA in the game and do not need more and rangers should not be hit in the first place~ pure power
I'd go all power since RAcaseals don't really need much hit. If you don't focus a bit more in to power, either in your mag or via mats, then you'll be doing relatively small damage in SH.

Ah well. I guess I forgot that this is different than the old PSO where a good ATA mag was useful even on a RAcaseal.

With 20 hit on my mag I'm not missing anymore, even with the powerful shot, and I'm a RaMarl. Although, I would imagine in the begining of Very Hard mode, i might see some 'Misses'.

Also something you should keep in mind for future characters-
you will be overflowing in money. You will have so much money you will feel compelled to give stacks of it to newer members because you don't know what to do with it. You really really really don't need DEF on your MAGS, or in your material setup. You will have such an ungodly amount of money that you will be tricked out in 10 Mono, Di, and Trimates, and not to mention 10 Mono and Difluids (or Heal traps.) You can heal any amount of damage you take, as fast or as slow as you wish without making a dent in your bank account.
Now PDs are a different story, but the general rules are Don't Give Them Away and Don't Buy Those Terrible Weapons For Sale, and you should be fine as far as Scape Dolls go for when you die (which will happen.)

At what point in the game do you start making that much money?
I mean, I've never run out, but I also rarely buy things other than weapon upgrades... which still feel expensive.

I dont agree. I tend to only have one type of Mate on my pallete at any given time, the other 2 slots on my R trigger are used for one type of trap and a Difluid/Moon Atomizer. Changing your pallete mid fight (especially boss fight) is an easy way to get killed.
For my RAcast (your brother unit) I'm in the process of making the mag I will use from this point on. As mentioned earlier, ATA is next to useless for a Ranger, so this mag will be 80 ATP and 20 DEF.

Ummm....a good option is a 99 power, 1 def mag, hoping to get that Mag burst that does Shifta/deband/zalure/jellen
But that's up to you. I haven't needed to worry about accuracy on my raceasal. Actually, defensively is not a big concern either, because they are able to equip the best armor defense wise in the game that sometimes human rangers can't. And the goal of ranger being to "stay away".
I generally have a healing item, heal traps and some other kind of trap on my pallete...heal traps can be useful if used correctly.
