Phase -I: The new festival begin!


Duration : 3 weeks: 28 November to 19 December


submitting entries to gain festa point, and unlock rewards. at the end of this phase,
our judges will score your art and give the RL rewards for 3 winners.

Ryna represent judge as PSOW admin and forum master.
Edward represent judge as official forum admin and GM.

(this time, I separate personal prefer-style/like/dislike score into impression category
so that it can only effect the score up to 1/4 of total score only. So that other section will be fairly judged with out preference.)

that were unlocked from Phase-I first. the higher the ranking, the more priority he can choose.

Note that the prize in game is given differently between the server, depending on our generous sponsor on each server.

Duration : After the end of Phase-II


every participators who submit entry will receive 30 casino silver coins,

Also, the seasonal event doesn't need to be from PSU only. you can image some fancy one yourself from RL seasonal holiday.
for example, how would it look like if PSP:2 might have some seasonal event lobby too? eg. they might have pizza party and a lot of cheesy-kun for X'mas party for example. (because this drawing include old PS games too)

However, you have to explain your own idea so that other people will understand in the comment when you upload picture too. Try to have PS feeling at it.

I am very much a western fan of the PS series. Perhaps it shows most in the expressions, which maybe look a little strange on manga faces. Although my aim is to emulate as close as I possibly can the original artwork of the PSO/PSU series. Most similar to the PSO ep III card illustrations.

That's good, I was busy with RL and I haven't had the time to work on my picture more than a few hours a week. And in those few hours a week I have done very little drawing. Hopefully I can make use of the extra time.

As far as deadlines I like specific time and dates for contests. And as the new deadline is now January 1st, unless otherwise instructed I will assume that means that the contest ends on Friday, January 1st, 2010 @ 23:59:59. (one second before midnight in your perspective timezones)
If I get the 1st off then I will spend most my time that day on my picture. I think I can have something ready by then.

Okay so, it's not terribly urgent that I receive a prize or anything, I am just glad I was in the running. I just hadn't received anything.. not present in my room, or even a mail. Also I just had a concern, I thought I read that everyone that participates gets casino coins.. now is that only for people with PC/Ps2's?? :-?

SO the sponsers skipped out, okay. That's fine, I wasn't the first place winner. No big deal there, but about the coins. What you've said is not true, I have filled out the registation form completely when I entered my picture. Where it said Game Id, I entered Honeysan, since this is indeed my X-box Gamer tag. If for some reason you missed this, I had also wrote it in the discripption of my entry. Transer to Parum, the summers are great, Honeysan on X-box, something to that effect. Since the site was changed I cannot prove this.

Anyway, I am stating that this event seemed very unorganized and unfair to X-box players. They're are many fans of PSU, so in the future make sure to include all of them.

This event was open to both servers and to all fans, prizepool was never promised until unlocked and if one checked the gallery frequently during the submission period, well it was obvious that the Xbox prizepool was on the dry side. It's a shame that sponsors go back on their word, it makes the host look bad even though it's not heavily their fault. I'm pretty sure a GM can be reminded about casino coins. Just be sure that everyone checks all their character slots.

Hmm still, I think this event was well organized since Arika and Smidge worked hard in preparing a special site for the event. Not to mention all the advertising. @.@;

In game Identity = not given, so I assumed that he is among one of the people who doesn't care casino coins or just not read the rule. I couldn't do anything more, I already asked S-T-H to remind it on the PSOW first page and that helped to bring a few more people to PM me the ID and I wished he could do the same.

and for xbox in-game prize, this is really up to their kindness. I really can't blame them for not sponsoring an event that has only one candidate... But really, I still have to apologize for this.
