I just got my copy of 1.1, and I was wondering if there is anything I should know before setting it up??? what proceedures so I need to do??? just pop it in, and type in the serial numbers or what??/ thanks...

just pop in your mem card and fire her up. theres an option to see the message in english before you do so. its fairly straightforward.

I'm assuming you already had v1.0. So,just pop the memory card with the v1.0 data on it, and it should ask you to convert the file into a v1.1 file.

You do not need to enter in the serial that comes with v1.1. Unless you want to sign up for a new HL.

yes, no need to enter new info as it will use your network info already saved on your mem card.

hi scan_man, i still have your card on my import. hopefully you still have mine.

I think so Malkavian, what PSO Ver1.1 does is convert your old characters and erase all items in the process. So when you think about it, what if you get a new memory card and lost your old one that had your ver 1.0 characters? Well I guess you could make a new game then. That's the way i see it

You get a new serial and access key with v1.1. If you already have a v1.0 account, then there is no need for the new serial. Just like on version 2 on dreamcast.

So, the answer is yes.
