Seasonal lobbies
* Come January 1, 2010, Clyez and Ohtoku Cities will be dressed up in their New Year's decorations. The lobbies will be in place through January 14.

Event
* The Great Arms Race: GRM vs. Yohmei vs. TENORA (http://psupedia.info/The Great Arms Race) begins! This event will run from December 24 through January 28.

* At the start of the event, you will pledge yourself to one of the three manufacturers, meaning that when you enter the event mission, all kill data you collect will be tallied up for only that one manufacturer. Overall kill data will be tracked in a three-way race between the companies, and at the end of it all, the rewards given out will depend upon which manufacturer wins.

Event missions
* Recruitment Project (http://psupedia.info/Recruitment Project) - You must first use this mission to sign up for the event. Here you will choose which of the three manufacturers you want to represent and gather battle data for.
* Assailants' Memories (http://psupedia.info/Assailants' Memories) C-S3 - The main event mission where data will be gathered. It is based on an assault on a HIVE.
* Hit the Counter! (http://psupedia.info/Hit the Counter! (TGAR mission)) - Collect a special reward for reaching a 100,000 milestone during the event.

Existing mission updates
* RSD Special Exchange (http://psupedia.info/RSD_Special_Exchange) - New items will be added.

GAS update
* The AP cap will be increased from 10 to 20.

New items
* Some new weapons will be added. These include Christmas Tree Spear and Merry Christmas (a grenade that launches presents).
* New GC weapons and clothes will be added to Legacy of the Light (http://psupedia.info/Legacy_of_the_Light) and Photon Crystal Exchange (http://psupedia.info/Photon Crystal Exchange). These include Glasher (handgun), Genesis (RCSM), Reindeer Suit (clothes, parts) and Santa Dress (clothes, parts).
* The following items will be temporarily removed from Photon Crystal Exchange (http://psupedia.info/Photon Crystal Exchange): Rappy Fan, Diska Slasher, Master System, 430 Ossoria Dress/Set and 450 Ossoria Dress/Set.
* Bamboo room decoration will be available at the Variety Shop for the duration of the New Year's lobby.
* Casino rotation.

I also renamed the event to "The Great Arms Race." Going by the literal translation ("Gurhal's Greatest Battle") just seems odd to me considering that whole SEED thing was pretty damn important. <_<; Besides, the official site calls it the "Maker Race" in the URL, so I figured it was a fitting take on that name.

So, let's all support Yohmei, yeah? I could always use a badass wand! :wacko:

As far as we know, they're not. At least, they were never featured on the design contest site.

The wand looks like something off of dark flow, if he made a dark wand, it would be kongora.

The Firearm looks like a skinny Blackbull...but sleeker. Really like the design. Plus it's stronger than Edel Fussil, I wonder how it will grind.

And Ank Giaz...looks like some kind of gear toy.

On the contrary, it PROVES that this event is a total faliure. Don't see how you can manage to interpret it as anything else.

Especially since ST gave everyone a free timecode at the start of this event, effectively enabling them to play for 3 days without having to reactivate their License, and the event is only into its 2nd day.
You're also forgetting, for some obscure reason that may not be apparent to you, that more people tend to be on during friday night then say, a weekday.

I want to see what enemies there are.
I added all of the current enemies yesterday morning when I did my initial run, so until new routes open up (seems to be the case, likely from panel unlocks) that's it. I'm still collecting box data by block as well as boss box drops, but we're getting there.

Oh, and I might be renaming this mission. I'm not terribly fond of my initial translation, so I'm trying to think of something a little better. Once renamed, those links will still work; they'll just redirect you to the new name.

I don't really like the new mission.
Seems too short for some reason.
Even I solo'd it in under 15 minutes, including boss, which is great for me! lol.

Also, how the hell did SEGA add a mission without even having maintenance?!

They took like 6 hours just adding Shred the Darkness haha.
Then had maintenance when we got the second wave of missions.
