No Play With USA or Japan!!!

a list of countries from which players will be able to play online.

Those countries include:
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Malta, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.



WTF! PAL PSO EP 1 and 2 doesnt let you play with the USA or Japan? Why not?! For gods sake SEGA, didnt you guys learn when the US players complained about not being able to play with the japanese ones? I was expecting to play with some of the peeps from here, but now im stuck just having to play with the EU. Fine, fine, the EU has nice people (like me) in it, but ive got people from the USA i want to play with more. Why do SEGA keep making these bloody stupid mistakes.

Also i will have to pay 5.99 a month, but i supose that one can slip a bit seeing as the US is paying more. But im still a bit peeved its that high.

And even if you guys were locked off from the US, it's probably likely that eventually you will get access to our servers... Similar to how we had to wait a few months before ST allowed us US players to access the JP servers (and vice versa).
But yeah, to my understanding, that's just the list of countries that can go online with the game.

My contact, Geirant, the news editor at NGC sent me this email, which btw was on the front page news.

"Yup, it's mostly true. The game will be online from the word go (in fact the servers will be ready a few weeks prior to the game hitting the shelves in europe). The game will allow access to both US and Japanese servers. "

oh, damn, i wish i read that properly.
So it which countrys CAN GO ONLINE, not release for these countrys on this date (I wish i knew this befor i e-mailed my gaming shop (www.gamesman.co.nz) moaning about thier wrong release date........

Wel, looks like that may be cleared up. Not so peeved now that it looks like we can go online with the US. And i dont know how i missed Japan right in the middle there, i read the thing through at least 5 times trying to find it. Gah, i must be going blind.

I did read the front page, i just mis-read it. When it said 'countries from which players will be able to play online' i took that as what countries we would be able to play with. Ive been misreading loads latly for some reason.

But i totally get it now.
