GC: BROADBAND HELP!

I got PSO for GC when it first came out. I play it online and figures I get randomly disconnected and a black screen which would make me loose all my items that were not equipped. I have Verizon DSL using PPPOE and no Router. I contacted Sega numerous times a while ago when I played online but they said they were lookin into it. Did they ever fix this yet?

As far as I know, it's been this way since day one. :/ Best thing to do would be getting a router... It makes life much easier, anyhow. I can drain nearly all my downstream bandwidth on the PC and still get barely any lag on PSO.
With a little configuring, those disconnections should be history if you use a router.
