How do I level up

Level up my weapons and class that is. So I can level up my weapon ranks and go from a lvl 5 hunter to 6 but where exactly do I do either?

your type levels up as you get type points from the end of a mission.

your weapon ranks come with your weapons, you can upgrade the rank of weapons you can use by talking to an npc in the battle shop by using extend type points.
