Don't sell your Yu-Gi-Oh bards. Perhaps in the new update these tune players might be good.

Cards you said? Oh well, gauge the pros and cons of getting rid of them, in 2010 now.

Sell your plasma @ the blood banks. If they are at least capable enough to poke your veins without causing major damage due to being an inept, "heart in the right place, but still," volunteers holding the syringes/drainers.

So yeah, that just freaked me out of blood donation, as well as the joke about you might only get a cookie, not real cash.

I still have mine, and I started getting into the game probably over a decade ago now. I don't have near as many people to play against anymore (the guys I played most with live out of town, one of em might be moving to Oregon), but I still try to collect the new ones from time to time. Recently I ended trading an arm and a leg for my friend's Brionac (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Brionac,_Dragon_of_the_Ice_Barrier) from the recent Hidden Arsenal pack, then later on, I bought another pack bundle and ended up pulling another Brionac AND a Catastor (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Ally_of_Justice_Catastor) - the two best cards in the series - both in the same bundle. @_@ I still need to edit my decks to account for them, but I'd need some good tuners. Synchro monsters and tuners have radically changed the game; you're pretty much screwed if you're not running them because often times they're so easy to get onto the field compared to fusions, rituals, and tribute monsters. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of the really good ones yet...

I also play Magic to an extent, but I gave most of my Magic cards to a friend of mine who's more into the game than I am. He pretty much keeps all of our cards together at his place in a collective... collection and then makes all sorts of decks out of them. I usually run Blue/White control decks.

I never cared for Yugioh. Just didn't like it.

I still play Pokemon every once in awhile though. And the Dragon Ball Z GBA game on my PSP.

To me, Yugioh was easier to keep up with. Whenever Magic would release a new set, you'd have to use all-new cards to play certain formats, and there'd be so many to keep up with...

Think I still have most of my old Pokemon cards too, though I barely got into the first few gym leader series before I stopped collecting them.

The "Super" one with the cards that you use to power up your doods?

http://www.gamespot.com/gbc/puzzle/dragonballzlegendarysw/index.html

That's a good game. A diamond in the rough among bad DBZ games. Reminds of Card Fighters Clash. Was reluctant to buy it not knowing what it was in store but glad I did.

But if you mean this:

http://www.gamespot.com/gba/strategy/dragonballzccg/index.html

I've never played. How is it? Screenshots look pretty colorful, especially compared to the tiny sprites of the other game I was talking about. Found some screens:

Number 2.

I like it for what it is. It's straightforward and classic. The music get SO annoying though. It's just the same thing over and over. Menu to game. Ugh. Luckily you can always turn the volume down ^^

There's a new real life card game in place now, but this one takes a few releases of the original one, adds a few, and totally makes Cell ridiculous :p

Total nerd thing here. Possible spoiler if you pretend it has a story line:

[SPOILER-BOX]The thing about the game is that the cards are divided into colors, and you can decide to make a deck solely from that color. It's called a Tokui-Waza. Certain cards require a Tokui-Waza to use special features, and the final boss Cell, can use them without declaring one.[/SPOILER-BOX]

It's just the basic turn based card game. My diamond in the rough of bad DBZ games anyway.

That's a lotta over thousands.

Get an emulator and give it a whirl :)

If you like it, you can get it on GBA or keep your ROM. There's no sprite based gameplay or anything. Your characters are called Main Personalities, and they're basically "who you are". Your card sits there, and you decide what cards in your hand or on the table to use.

The power stages basically represent how much damage you can take before you have to start discarding cards. Goku's is one of the highest in the game.

Advanced Adventure is a pretty good game. The one-on-one mode is probably the best representation of how fights played out in the original Dragon Ball, too.

Can I also say that despite its flaws, the third DBZ GBA RPG (Woo! Acronyms!) wasn't half bad? Buu's Fury is fun if you're just looking for a game to play. Then again, I was playing on emulator and using save states, as I seem to remember there being some cheap deaths. Regardless, I had very low expectations for the game when I booted it up and I was pleasantly surprised by it.

My brother had hundreds of Yu-Gi-Oh Cards, like maybe like 500 :)

I only had around 50-60. Never bought any, never got any new ones and I beat him every. single. time. He got fed up and threw them all away hahaha :o

Occasionally at my cousin's house I'll go to his house and play with his decks... but they just aren't the same as the ones I once had ;_;

I always thought the Starter Deck Kaiba Blue-Eyes (http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/c/ca/Blue-EyesWhiteDragonSDK-NA-UR-1E.jpg) looked crappy compared to the other ones... was that the one you were referring to? Personally, I like the Shonen Jump promo version (http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/4/42/Blue-EyesWhiteDragonJMP-NA-UR-UE.png) and the 10th Anniversary special edition. (http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/e/e0/Blue-EyesWhiteDragonYAP1-EN-UR-LE.png) As for Red-Eyes, definitely the 10th Anniversary edition, (http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/b/b3/Red-EyesBDragonYAP1-EN-UR-LE.png) though Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/6/6b/Red-EyesDarknessMetalDragonJUMP-EN-UR-LE.png) is my favorite effect-wise (and he DOES look cool); people have built entire decks around him.

I actually knew a mom in my Yugioh group of friends in Jonesboro who had a respectable collection too. I believe she had two daughters who also played, but I heard she quit recently and gave away her cards... and I wasn't around at the time to cash in. ;_; Oh well, I know another guy who's been wanting to sell his collection off to me, but I just don't have the money right now...

I never could get my hands on the original PSV-000 Jinzo either. I've got the tin version and the 10th Anniversary one (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/c/c1/JinzoYAP1-EN-UR-LE.png) though. I've been trying to make a good lockdown deck using him, Horus Lv8, and Destiny Hero Plasma, but it's not easy getting all three of those guys out on the field. =x

There IS a level theme among some monsters, (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/LV_Monsters) but you're probably thinking of Jinzo #7, (http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/2/2f/Jinzo7MRD-NA-SP-UE.jpg) originally from the 2nd set, Metal Raiders. There's also Jinzo - Returner (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/5/56/Jinzo-ReturnerLODT-EN-R-1E.png) and Jinzo - Lord (http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/8/8d/Jinzo-LordLODT-EN-SR-1E.png) (which isn't worth using). Then, there's Amplifier, (http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/9/94/AmplifierCP06-EN-C-UE.png) and Factory of 100 Machines (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/6/63/Factoryof100MachinesCSOC-EN-C-1E.jpg) (used for Morphtronic decks, but has Jinzo in the artwork)...I think that covers all of them so far, besides the original.

My brother obtained a Crush Card Virus, I believe, from a pack at one of the release events about a year ago. The vendors there offered $300-400 on the spot for it, but he hesitated, because he "might" use it one day, even though he wasn't running any Dark decks.

We don't play anymore, so yeah, opportunity to get all his money that was spent on Yugioh back, or the essential equivalent of having his entire collection free, just passed him by.

I'd say my overall rarest card would be one of those 1st Edition Ghost Rainbow Dragons, and I think I had a Yubel 3, I don't remember. Few other worthy mentions to Judgment Dragon and Arcane Force EX- The Dark Ruler (the Light of Destruction one). I had another that people kept wanting to trade for but I can't remember what it was, so whatever.

Mained Crystal Beasts and later on Lightsworn. But mostly Crystal Beast.

I actually had a Crush Card Virus at one point. It got traded back and forth among the regulars in our Yugioh Books-A-Million group, and eventually made its way to me. Unfortunately, I lost it at a regionals tournament in Memphis... my guess is someone nabbed it while I had several people in line for trading. Ironically though, it got put onto the forbidden list a few months later when Konami updated the Advanced format, so I couldn't have used it anyway. Still, that card's rare/expensive as hell, and I wish I hadn't taken it to that tourney... it would've looked awesome in my "show-off" binder along with my Deck Devastation Virus and Eradicator Epidemic Virus... something like this:
