Yeah not suprising its free, imagine if this game was free to play online. The future of gaming could have been sponsers, sort of how 1up cup was a sponsered event by a magazine company in Japan, if we could have developed something like that and made this game free to play it would have been a lot more than what it is now. I could have seen companies paying and competing for sponsership, have you seen how soutparkstudios.com works, every 7 minutes of viewing there is a commercial, after a while its not very annoying.

do anyone really wanna see all kinds of advertisements all over the places in lobbys, blocks, etc. and banners across the game screen every 5-10 mins? Not to mention all the demo noobs spamming all kinds of obscenities in populated univers 24/7? Even if they triple the b-list capacity, it wouldn't be enough to make the game playable at the very least. All of this will happen if they made the online play free. Think twice.

This game would be ruined if they made it free. I wont go anywhere near the demo anymore for the reasons mentioned above. If PSU was made free than I would stick solely to my PSP and Wii for my Phantasy Star needs.

I got started from the demo, semi-drunk one night searching for something to do while I was bored. I stumbled across this through x-box live and figured what the hell might kill some time for a couple hours.

Ended up getting to lvl 15 and really loving the game, complete shocker. I played EverQuest and WoW for years and never thought I'd enjoy a console MMORPG. I spent the next few days searching for a used copy of the game and finally found one at the mall and rushed to get it. I came into the game accepting that the demo might be like the real game, constant spam and porn advertisements and I was ok with that, was definitely pleasantly surprised when I found a mature community (nvm the 4th lol).

All in all I'm not surprised the demo is ranked that high...I've never heard of a demo with so much content, all in all a great experience so far.

XD too bad the big SUGAR daddy is too incompetent to put out games in order for digital download.. 1st Sonic the Hedgehog 06' then Sonic Unleashed, skipping over PSU.. wtf? let alone acquire a nuke to do just that.
