in offline mode how do you open the new difficulties

I know in single mode just beat each one to unlock the next... but what about multi-mode?

So how do you unlock hard in multi-mode?
How do you unlock Very Hard in multi-mode?
and How do you unlock Ultimate in multi-mode?

They're not really "unlocked" in multi-player, they just become available at certain levels.

At level 20 you'll be able to do hard mode, at level 40 very hard, and at level 80 ultimate.
