challenge mode materials a little too.....powerfull?

the other day i was doing challenge 2 with a force of mine and some one gave me a tp material and i used it and noticed my max tp went up by 10 points and i was like 'HUH????' eventualy in that challenge i found a hp material and i used it and it gave me +10 hp points i thought it was kewl at that time until i did challenge 1 today with another hucaseal (i was a hucaseal) and a fonewm and when we started i saw that the other hucaseal had an s-rank time of barely under 7 hours and in that challenge i found a power material and i used it and it added +10 to my atp i was wondering if the other materials did this too but the reason i mentioned this other hucaseal is because this person had not much of a clue what to do in challenge 1 like in those rooms where your supposed to ignore the enemys unless you want to get the snot beat out of you this person was fighting them but anyways in my opinion i think this material thingy is bs in challenge mode when you read the material it says that it adds 2 to that stat and wont go over that character class max but it was adding +10 to my stats for each one i got so like this hucaseal must have gotten alot of materials and that why this person barely passed challenge mode not really by skill but by the difficulty on gamecube challenge mode and not to forget the ridiculous percents you get on weapons in challenge mode.....but they prabably did this for episode 2 challenge mode since the thing is so freaking hard on the regular but anyways what do some of you psow challenge mode vets think about this material boost? i really want to know what other people think about this and if the other materials also add +10 instead of +2 like in the regular game.

C mode mats all add +10 to their respective stats. This was probably to offset the fact you can only use what you find.

The boost from 2 points to 10 doesn't really bother me as making cmode too easy. Before, it seemed almost arbitrary who would get a non-hit material, since 2 points didn't make much of a difference. Now, a power material might mean a player can equip a weapon earlier.

the only problem i've run into challenge mode not being able to use a weapon is using a buster in challenge 6 with my hucaseal right at the start but if i lv up once i will be able to use it and also in challenge 9 i can't use a pallasch at all unless i get a few power materials and maybe a general/power
but i need to look a little more into challenge 9 since i don't do that one much or any of the ruins one's unless im helping a friend or doing it to get my title

do those stat ups permantly effect the character outside of challange mode? Still trying learn about Cmode

I'm starting to think that the boost from 2 to 10 points per material is for the best: It makes sharing the materials with the appropriate team members significant. For example, the stage 9 force needs 141 HP. It isn't impossible to achive, yet it isn't as possible to achieve without proper teamwork and item sharing.

i got to agree with you on that one snappuru falz was a bit tuff on v2 for any class especialy when falz cast its pilla attack >_> gotta hate that and the extra damage when frozen attack can wipe out people pretty quickly for those who dont know how to break out of ice.....and leto the materials/weapons/items/stats and lv's you get in challenge mode are not permanent and will not effect your character in the normal game. if you want to know more about this look it up in your game manual.
