Honestly, do you read everything in PSU?

I tend to skip over most of the crap and play the game...Even in the story mode, once I see it once or twice, I don't want to read through all of that crap again. :P As long as you know the game, you can play it regardless the language since the interface remains the same.

So somewhere in between 1618 and 3400 players. The JP servers are having an event right now. The 360 servers had about the same population level during our last event.

Whats up with the JP players spreading out across the universes while on our servers we all usually group into a single universe?

It would be nice to be able to read the text but I have been playing a long time and i know most by memory. Kinda cool also knowing that this will deffinitely be the last server up and running. Who knows if xbox will suffer same fate of the PC/PS2 side not too far off? Level 31 already in one day :)

Sega Japan wanted to be separatists, obviously not a good business practice. They failed in everyway compared to say FF11 server setup. Glad you are enjoying yourself but they wanted to be seperate for a reason. FF11 setup, technical was not one of them. Neither was M$ a problem. So those 2 out what does that leave?

Yea, you don't need to know one bit of Japanese.
It would be nice, if you're going to synth stuff, but honestly, everything there is so cheap, you don't need to synth.

And even if you do need to synth, just insert a [b] (convert it in a translator, and stick it in).

It's not that hard if you've been playing PSU these last few years.
And, you learn pretty fast what things are!

Plus, since you've been playing, you pretty much knows what drops off the creatures, so the only things you wont know is the JP only stuff.

Yep, I read everything. I'm a sucker for story, background stuff and even trivia. Honestly, even if I'd figure out what some things meant, it would still piss me off. Especially considering the reason one would switch servers. *grumbles* Get off my lawn.

I was wondering here, how do you guys know exactly what you're selling?

For example: Let's say I want to sell a poison truffle for some reason, how do you know which item is exactly the poison truffle? Is there a site or you simply use a japanese chart and translate the letters?

But, as long as it's just katakana, it's probably faster to just read it with a chart.

Oh I know. Just seems you guys are going to a bit drastic measures to play a game, when the company supporting it has made it pretty clear they don't want anyone outside of JP playing. I assume you guys still love the game or else you wouldn't be abandoning shit tons of weps and starting anew just to play for an addiction.
