FSOD Beggars!

I'm so sick of creating a game and every damn time at least one person joins saying
"OMG I LOST ALL MY RARES TO FSOD CAN I HAVE FREE STUFF"

What the hell is with that? EVERYONE gets FSOD at some point in their PSO life, plenty of people over 10 times. I lost half my bank rares to FSOD once, but I have enough decency to not go beg to the lobbies and random games! Recover yourself, and stop being such a lazy ass.
If you're using it as a con artist method, get a new one because no one feeds beggars like these more than 9 stars and meseta, which I wouldn't spare for any of them.

Dude i totally agree with you. I got FSOD more time then i would like to count. And i lost some pretty good items. But i never went around begging for rares. Shoo with the luck i have i dont get that many 10-11 star rares that people are begging for. If i lose an item. I go in offline mode and kill the enemy until i get it back. Thats one of the main joys of the game, but that also trys your patients too. And the people that beg are lazy bums whodont want to put the extra effort in to find those items.

I went into a trading game to sneakily power level, and some HUmar comes in crying "omg i lost all my rares when i fsod during a trade"

The name of the team was red merge.

And people gave him some dupes and everyone was happy with "lol". I think the fsod story is just a cheater's social convention for receiving duplicated items.

Personally I think people that join games asking for items since theirs were supposedly lost to FSOD are just a bunch of scammers trying to get free stuff because their items suck and they want the uber stuff without doing any work.

There's NO excuse for begging, whether its honest or not. Today I was in the lobby and no less than FIVE people were begging for stuff because of corrupted characters and FSOD. Painful >_<

Well, I don't like that scenario either..and I know you all ran across this famous one. When a mid lvl player joins a game with a "MAG" and asks can he have a 'insert particular stat here' mag. In other words never raising it in the beginning.

it's annoying when you see it over and over again. It's just some sort of way to cheat without "cheating" by begging.

I had a begger today. Joined a game, and he asked if I had any arm stuff.... so I said, yeah, let me check, and gave him a general that boosted stats by 4. Guy was about a level 30 so I was a bit surprised he did't have anything like that yet, but decided to be nice and gave him one... and it wasn't my best by a long shot. So then he takes it, says thanks, and then starts asking for a god arm. Lazy and rude I call that!

Seems like a lot of people beg, some won't even let go... But I guess I see where they're coming from. The only problem is they should just regain their items in my opinion. I mean, I know people are like "Yeah, but I had 2 level 150+ characters, 1 level 115..." etc... But complaining isn't going to solve the problem, begging may just be a way of saying "Pity me" even though it's only a video game.

Here is how to get rid of em. Keep some low lvl items in your bank (rifles, mechguns, hanguns, canes, sabers, etc). When they come around, drop 2 of them on the ground. Let them have them. If they arent lying they really need em.
