HELP! I can't play online!

Hey everyone,

I am unable to play online, and it's driving me insane! :argh: The strange thing is that I am connected to the internet wirelessly through my DSi, and everytime I test my connection, the tests are always successful. I can play online through Free Play Mode, but I can't play with others through the DS Wireless Play. :( Even though I am connected to the internet, I always have NO bars whenever I enter DS Wireless Play Mode.

I get my internet from my wireless router.

Please help me! I want to be able to join/form parties and visual chat with people. I have contacted Nintendo, and they couldn't help me. Thanks for your help :D

ummm...im confused.....the title says that you can't go online, but you are saying that you can get online, but not wireless play???

DS wireless play does not use internet. The connection between DS-DS.

If you are talking about joining/forming people who you added their friend codes, you have to go to Wifi, not wireless. You said that you can play in free play mode, so you are able to connect to wireless without a problem.

To play with friends that you added, select character -> Wifi -> Play with frient ->form/join

oh... I know what you mean. His WI-FI router isnt working. Just unplug and plug it in. Try putting it in differnt links too! Good Luck!!:D It happens to me A LOT! HAVE FUN...or not...by the way whats your friend code?

hmm...he said that he can get on free play with no problem though
that means that there's nothing wrong with the router

If you're using a ROM on a flashcart and not the actual game, then you can't see people online. It's part of the anti-piracy sega put into the game.

If you ARE using a real cartridge and still can't see people on your friends list, then I dunno whats up...

Anywho, I've had this problem before, and it turned out the person I was trying to connect with had router issues.
