Only two useable slots in my palette?

I will provide photos when possible but... My palletes center and bottom slot work fine, but the one on the top has a strange symbol in it. When I go to customize, I put deband or something there, it shows up shows up just fine, but when I leave customize, the strange symbol is back. This goes for my main and sub pallette.


Suggestions would be greatly apreciated.
