I think I'm going to play through Killer 7 again.

And I think all of you should consider a playthrough as well.

The PS2 version is going for dirt cheap on Half.com: http://product.half.ebay.com/Killer-7-PlayStation-2-2005_W0QQprZ44154727QQtgZinfo

It doesn't look quite as good as the Gamecube version and the loading screens take a little bit longer, but it's really only something you would notice when playing them side by side. It's entirely playable.

Oh, and then once you've played it, I recommend taking a look at this incredibly detailed thesis paper (disguised as a plot analysis) on GameFAQs: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/gamecube/file/562551/38193

I always do at least one playthrough a year.

I know I've done two playthroughs, as I played it on both GCN and PS2, and I think I played it through once more on GCN, though I don't remember if that actually happened or if I just planned it.

Regardless, the more I think about how No More Heroes 2 is so mainstream, the more it makes me want to play Killer 7.

Now to find some time in my schedule to do this.

I always wanted to play that game. Sadly I'm missing cables for both my Gamecube and PS2 so even if I decided to get it, I wouldn't be able to play it unless I bought some new ones.

You're right. I need to finish my Killer8 run. I'm stuck on Smile.

Wow, a FPS I might like that's not Metroid Prime or Duke Nukem 3D. I might have to get this.

It's not an FPS, it's a on-rails shooter.

Trade in that Dante's Inferno, and maybe get more than $12.99 Gamestop trade in pricing, power not to the Gamers. To use for what is called the "Legacy Consoles - Xbox & Xbox 360, GC, PS2 S-Video."

Or sell on Half.com ;o Get $40 maybe.

Or return and pretend you bought it for your kid, and haven't bought any Nintendos in years and what is this return policy bullcrap?! You don't need professional acting experience for this, just passion.

Oh, here's something you might be interested in Outrider. It's a analysis of No More Heroes 2:

;o

My Travis is getting exploded and has to frantically wiggle mote press A shake shake shake after falling into yet another beach land mine hole trap.

This lady is shooting more missiles out of her backside than Chun-Li, the Shadowlady of Marvel vs Capcom:Japan.

It's not an FPS, it's a on-rails shooter.

I'd actually say the best way to describe it is that it's an on-rails adventure title in which you you can pull up a point-and-shoot view.

Thanks for the links. I agree with some of what he said and think he's wrong on other points (I don't think his definition of Henry's role is very thought-out). Also, the quality of the writing leaves something to be desired.

BUT

I hadn't thought of the "Santa Destroy=Gaming landscape" argument. It makes a ton of sense and it has officially blown my mind. I can't believe I missed it.

My favorite part is the idea that each of these bosses represent different types of gaming, which makes sense when you think about it. The music/rhythm boss has quickly gained hundreds of followers, the sports boss fight consists of dozens of identical characters, and the survival-horror boss puts you against an enemy who can easily overpower you in a cluttered environment with (whether this is intentional or not) a broken camera.

I'm going to have to keep all this in mind as I complete my second playthrough.

Again - thanks for the links.

I know I've said this many times before but man, I love Suda 51.

#2 rank, the last few rise up the rankings were a bit anti-climatic including that Henry bro, instant kill on brain bomb highway road and wind power guy leading up the what I assume is Rank #1 Henry is your bro

Because I watched this before 2 came out, but I was then only rank 7 ish

I laughed at the cool shoes, but seriously, those aren't that cool. Step it up!
(Can you buy different shoes for Travis in #2 ?)

Get to the near end of games and not finish them, a bad habit I got going.

The Wii sounds like its going to explode during mini-games with all the reading from the disc, I assume the #2 has tightened that up in the technical dept. Affects the store guy's speech sometimes too. He's supposed to say something about "alright, take care brother" in such tinge of Japan cool guy English learned from TV attempt, but it comes out fast and jumbled gibberish. ;o Heard it correctly earlier in the game.

Like the lady and her lines in the K-assassin mission clerk though, "May you find your true path" Her voice never changed, or bugged out.
