Rappy Soul?

This Sunday when running Hard ET I came across a bunch of Rappies, and one of them dropped a Rappy Soul. Since I'm considering eventually turning one of my mags into a Rappy, my question is: are these souls a "rare" drop, or am I bound to find at least one for each time I run into Rappies in SH?

You won't find a rappy soul for every time you find rappies, but the rappy soul is fairly common when you encounter them.

Okay, thanks. Wanted to keep a spare, if they're common to find I'll wait to find another before using it.

By the way, I assume the color of the Rappy mag depends on your mag itself, am I wrong?

i dont think rappy souls are particularly rare as far as drop rates, i picked up 2 rappy souls on the first quest with a new HUcast i'd made and then 1 more doing a normal ET run.
i think you are more likely to get a photon drop from a rappy encounter but more likely to get a soul over a Save slot i.e Photon drop > rappy soul > PA/tech save

Yes, as with all mag souls, the color is based off of the default mag.
