English Community Gathering! *Finished*

Since the closing of the EN PC/PS2 server, there has been a decent sized group of people switching or at least curious of switching over to the JP server.

I have been lucky enough to know and bump into a lot of english speakers so far on the JP server. (About 25 cards of active english speakers which is more than I can say about the last year of EN PSU). There may be a few lagging ducklings behind that need some help being introduced to the english speaking community on the JP server. So I decided to plan a meet and greet card exchanging community gathering on the weekend of April 2nd.

Where: Club 3ed floor of the Guardians Colony Uni. 1

When: April 2nd and 3ed @ 10PM eastern, 7PM Pacific.

Being AFK for the event is a very good idea if you are swamped for the weekend.

I encourage the Euro players to be there in spirit (AKF ;) ) for the event as well if they cannot make it in person.

It's not what you may be thinking. The only bad part is the huge download which can take a couple of hours depending on your connection. After that(having paid nothing) you can play for five days free and get started. The only thing you have to buy after that is the game Key which is only around 10 bucks and that will give you 10 more days of free play and then you just have to pay monthly( again around 10 bucks ).

Thats not too bad I suppose, if there is a large enough English community I can spare $10 ^_^ ...Although starting over at level 1 is going to be harsh.

There is the free course too. You don't get to have a room (but you have a 100 slot box on the NPC shops, trade, or go to player shops (also no side missions) and you get less coins and DS per day :p but you do get what you can call the "core" gameplay without paying.

As Damascus said, the download takes some time.

So apparently the instructions on the PSUpedia site are a bit out of date.... I have gotten to the point where I made an account, and it sent me a confirmation email, but now I need to log in and I can't.

The confirmation email was a bit scrambled, and I can hardly make out my account name and a possible password I am supposed to use?

because i used the website provided on PSUpedia and had trouble downloading. It happened on the first step of downloading the setup file. I was given some error message which i could not understand.

I wonder if i should buy a key first before downloading. but i am afraid i still can not download after i buy a key.

So i need some information first.

1. do i need to buy a key? how much is the key?

2. Is it better to buy a disk compared to the key? I mean which way might be cheaper,.

3.where to buy disk ? I am on PC.

4 which website should i go for registration, downloading, ?

You don't have to pay for anything. Just download the game *the PSUpedia guide should still work for that* and register a username using your email address and you should get an email with your username and password that you can change later. *It also does not matter what you put into the personal information page. Just copy and paste all of the examples the page has.

A lot of people run into problems here. I would just keep trying different downloads and check other threads of similar problems.

Shou, nice idea for an event gathering..

I decided to go, so I could help players there......I managed to help some break out of their basic types in Egg Thieves...more help tomorrow. This gathering has helped in a very big way.

I am sincere when I say...as shitty as it was....pc/ps2 was my home. Its where I started in psu and now that home is gone. It does feel good to feel right at home with this gathering...as there is nothing wrong with wanting to play with your own people from time to time.

i have another question. I realize i cannot have my own partner machine if i only register for the free course. So i might want to register for premium course. Does JP server also accept the payment of $50/ half year? Do they accept credit card issued by oversea bank?

Foreigners can only do month by month billing plans....Yes foreign Bank Cards go......but if you get robbed or lose your money...You will get 0 help from creditors and billing unless you can entrap and play their own game. As always if possible...Have two bank accounts. One for online, one for offline.

After trying JP servers for 2 days, i decided i would buy premium course. i really enjoyed the experience on JP servers. To avoid any possible inconvienence, i think i would use prepaid visa card.

So i need some help please.

1. I follow the guide on PSUpedia.

First i got a webpage which asked me for my ID and password. But this same page also asked me to type the code in a box. lol . I dont know how to type those code.
Is there any way or any other website available to avoid this code part so that i can go on to the next step?


2. Since i can not go on to the next step, right now i could not check any new information. But i need to decide the amount of prepaid card to buy.

how much willthe key cost? including all hiden fees such as tax.etc

Also, according to PSUpedia, except monthly recurring, there are also 30-day subscribtion and 100 day subscribtion avaiible. Am i not entitled to these two options either?

How much is the monthly charge including any hiden fees?

The english community is split up around the world so there really isn't a time when everyone is on. There are english-speaking players that live in Germany, Europe, US and even one in New Zealand. I have about 50 cards of english-speaking players now so there is always a handful of players on.
